First off, the Inn rules: Drink at least your own weight.
Second, please patronize this inn in the name of helping a raw recruit with his tasks.

no, I agree with Solarz here, if Rand was still only another aes sedai, he shouldn't have been able to single-handedly turn back the entire army at Maradon. Also, if hes supposed to be able to fight the DO on even footing, it makes sense of a kind that he could take on a full, complete circle.

Also, some browns have their quarters above the library:
tDR, pg 235
"Verin had her quarters above the library"
Other Ajahs may have random quarters squeezed into various parts of the tower

Noal says "Dark as a Sharan" that seems to indicate that Sharans are a darker skin tone than Tairens. I suppose it could be equated with Africans compared to Spaniards. While Spaniards are darker skinned than much of the rest of Europe, and thus could be called dark-skinned, they are very pale compared to Africans.

thats pretty cool

That would be pretty good.

In TDR, when Thom is ill and Mat drops him off at mother whats-her-names place, he thinks to himself that she'd keep Thom alive if "she had to pull him kicking and screaming out of his grave by his mustaches."
Also, see my signature...

Probably Sabaton, though I quite like Orden Ogan as well.

Yeah, one is straight up titled "the wheel of time"
its more or less Rand struggling with Insanity

I stumbled onto them some time ago, and since I have seen no mention of this album anywhere, I thought I would mention them.
Admittedly there are several notes that are terribly out of tune, but I think it should still be somewhere on DM.
Here's a link to the full playlist on youtube

This one is argueably the best performed of them.

I have always liked Talmanes.
Fain and Ishamael also deserve mention.

I'd give the first a tune, although it takes a while to be very interesting.
The avenged one isn't bad but also isn't all that memerable. I'd just barely give it a tune.
The Iced Earth one is also a tune for me.

I don't have any particular favorite book, as the events run together a lot for me. However, I particularly enjoy most of the Seanchan arcs between books 7 to 11.
As I am just starting a reread, I also have a particular appreciation for the first book.

Ok, I see my question has gotten a little out of hand, so I'll be pesky enough to ask the question again.
What could Lan's weakness be?
well, in New Spring Lan has the crap beaten out of him by some Darkfriend, although, admittedly that was twenty years ago.

That does make it considerably worse.
in fact, it almost seems impossible.
According to the companion, there were 200 hundred members of the Red Ajah during the last battle. Even accounting for Egwene's culling of the BA, I believe that the books said there were 47 members of the BA in red. So were looking at approximately 250 people killing 1430 people a year for seven years straight. meaning the average red killed 5 or 6 men a year.
So, about every two months, every red killed someone, on the suspicion of them being a channeler. I think that would be noticed, and mentioned in the books beyond a single line from Cadsuane. The other Ajahs would have to have caught wind of at least a few of these with their eyes and ears.

I guess so, makes sense

Thanks. Generally I listen to metal.

but then wouldn't he have taken nearly all of the men who would be looking for adventure and thus most likely to join the BT?
-
We never hear about them from anywhere but the Black Tower.
You would think there would be some comment about it during Perrin's POV's. Possibly even some questions to his Asha'man about them.
Does anyone know how the time frames match up?

When I first read the scene in tEotW where Rand drags Tam to the village, I immediatly thought of Paolini's scene in Eragon. None of the other connections really jumped out at me, although the character of the Razac seem more similar to Mydraal to me.
As for urgals and trollocs, they are both basically just orcs.

It might have something to do with how everyone from the Two Rivers views Mat.
However, you're right, it is pretty weird.

As the series goes on, it does get tiring as she keeps thinking she'd like to box someone or another's ears, a couple of times every time she gets a POV.
Creative Uses for Cuendillar?

I wonder how well it conducts electricity?
There could be a lot of uses depending on the answer, whichever way it goes.
