Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Then I played, remembered all my pet peeves as they emerged in games, and retired again. Twice. And here I am. Shoot me now. (not you - you're actually trained for that)

YOU meant it as a town-centric strategy, but it could be interpreted many different ways as people didn't know your alignment. You were insistent that it was "townie", but that was your POV....and nobody else's. And it didn't work. If I saw you being taken seriously, I would have answered normally. I saw people casting shade on you, and decided to not play along. It's not a strat that would work, honestly, unless there was an actual LD. And due to their not being one, Zander is correct in accusing you of WIFOMing the thread.

Yes, it was 2 separate situations. I think we all understand that.

This is all fair, but it is the players' prerogative to not accept the WIFOM and want to lynch him. I saw nothing wrong with that - it was the modkill stuff that was a problem and you handled it. It just so happened that both situations took townies down and then Zander was literally alone on an island.
