The Ta'varen never really made much sense to me. I try not to dwell on that whole side of the story because it's too implausible and will just spoil a story which I otherwise love. -
I must admit that usually I also prefer a faster paced story, but the Wheel of Time is just so unique. Everything Jordan wrote just drew me in further, and made it all more "real". I'm sure ants have personalities *grins*

What does the "73 from" mean? I've never been a religious person. When I was younger I equated that with being an Atheist, but as I grew older I wasn't so sure anymore. Then I got to know more about hyenas, and now I know there's some form of Creator out there and they really have a weird but wonderful sense of humour.

Hi Caelan 🙂 I agree with your concept - my thought was more that the Dark One can't actually create anything physical, like the Creator can. Instead, he has to manipulate others into doing what he wants - hence my supposition that he creates emotions.

Well put, in my opinion. -
I think unto each their own. Ie we all have different interests, so not everyone will find every sentence of the books fascinating. I quite like the description of the ordinary things, like the clothes, for the same reasons Heavy mentioned, whereas the battle scenes mostly bore me.

I like most that he turned the "magic" into something that's more science / physics based. Like you think that it could almost be real ... like you can treeeeetch and touch the Source ... LoL

Your imagination reflects what is written in the Books. The show Tower looks about as squat and appealing as my ex's tackle. -

I agree with you, Bodewhin! Can't remember how many times I've re-read ... definitely over 30 times for the older books. I do a reread at least twice a year .. lol! Last one ended just about 2 months ago.

So very glad you joined at last! And I'm with you on mourning the dormant groups. It feels like my home has turned into a ghost town. I've been reading WoT as long as you have, and been on DM (following the same path you did) since somewhere in 2006.
