I'll go ahead and Vote Turin

The rest of my reads: @Darthe is all over the place playing the provocateur. He's changed his vote more than anyone else and admittedly pushed multiple trains. I still have no idea what his stream-of-conscious post was about and I'd love for him to explain it. It's a little early to call WolfDarthe or TownDarthe, but I'm not a big fan of his coming out of the gate strong the way he has. I called him out for trying to assume early leadership and I see him fill-flopping votes more than making cases or building a core. @seph is clearly obsessed with pirates. I'm sure I'll be going point by point with him later, but it seems avoidable if he can see himself as tunneling and not actually having a point. @Gudrean It's my first game with Gud and her third game. Multiple players that have played with her before are suspicious of her, so it would be counterproductive to not listen to them. I need to reread her posts because there was something she said in the last 24 hours that made me wonder how she knew it, but I need to find it. It wasn't damning, just subtle, but it stuck out to me. @keyholder21 and @Hallia have both been fairly inactive. I've seen posts from both that I *felt* like were posts for the sake of posting moreso than actual content. But, I do also understand that it's d1, that the post count has been a PITA to keep up with (looking at you Turin) and that they may very well kick into gear later in the game. Because this is based on a *feeling* I will transcribe my thoughts into Spanish, Egyptian Hieroglyphs and Interpretive Dance versions for dice in case he needs those lol. @Verbal32 and @dicetosser1 are both doig what they normally do. Low activity because of work is nothing new for them. They'll be easier to read on d2 and d3. @Cass So far she has taken up the least amount of my thinking this game. I don't love some of her posts, but whatevs, d1, etc. Her following Darthe's vote on Turin bothered me because it came directly after his weird post, as if she understood what he was saying. She didn't give reasons or info, just hopped on that train. That bugged me. At this point, I'm looking to Zander more than anyone else for his reactions. That's what I got.

I think it's unavoidable to see Turin as the "attention getter" of the day. The extensive WIFOM'ing is just bad - it hasn't been necessary or helpful, just confusing. His constant referencing to the theme is bad - nobody needs to know anything about Hamilton to play this game - it's just flavor. His back and forth with ZanderChild has been exhausting and come to nothing other than significantly padding the post count. No other player has acted wolfier or been named as wolf more than him and he's definitely leaned into the excuse that everybody always thinks he's a wolf. These aren't even opinions, this is just a recount of his play so far.

Darthe’s stream-of-consciousness-acid-trip post was especially concerning to me and nether Key nor Halli showed up to play today. I’ve also questioned Turin a bit about his antics. I asked about the reasoning behind Cass’s vote this morning and have tried to keep up a conversation with Zander about his reads as he’s the mvp. You would know all this if you were reading closely. So far I’ve seen your play as leaning Town - not your reads, but your play - but now you seem to be shifting toward a different agenda than core building. I almost called you out earlier for spending a couple of posts casing Gud and then pivoting to me, but now it’s obvious so here we are. If you have an actual gripe against me, great, go ahead and make it. But at least do minimum fact checking first.

Oh, the irony… Simmer down Sparky and try to focus on what’s actually happening. I’m ready for our discussion whenever you are.

@Turin Turambar from a benefit-of-the-doubt angle, I’ve watched you become increasingly frustrated. Now, if I understand your post correctly, you’re saying that you decided to try and launch a moderately complicated plan to lay a LD trap on d1 based on your guessing of the game setup? Wouldn’t it have been easier to just quote the title of this game and say “looks like everyone’s got a role. Just in case there’s an LD, everyone state that they’re not mafia.” Feels like that might have saved time and trouble.
