I still believe that Rand was taveren after being born. He was born in the middle of a snow storm. How could Tam have found him before he froze to death? The on conclusion is that Rand was taveren at the time.

Wooow! Just think of the possibilities! All questions, theories and subject issues answered in one single release! Cannot wait!

I actually believed that it was Thom that brought the attack, until Whitebridge, with the same result that you mentioned. I do feel that Rand was ta veren since birth, and the Shadow sensed that there was a taveren in the area.
The prayer seems mostly to be a form of safety for the common people, or the truth that the Forsaken would be free eventually would plunge the world into chaos. The prophecies do not mention the Forsaken, just the result of their machinations and plots because of this outcome.
-
No, Lews Therin did not want the title, and every Forsaken confirms this.
What Nynaeve did in removing the madness in Naeff was not Healing; it was Compulsion, just not used how Moghedien or Graendal would use it. She did the same thing with Graendal's puppet in Bandar Eban. The descriptions are similar for these scenes. This same scene also showed that she could not do the same for Rand, and that Rand seemed to be Compelled in reverse.
As for Lews Therin being removed of his insanity, I still think that his actions in creating Dragonmount and Tar Valon showed that he was unable to deal with what he did. Much of Lews Therin's parts later on in the books showed it was immense grief.
The fact is Lews Therin had TWO different types of insanity; the DO's that made him wipe out everyone he loved, and the reality that it happened and he was responsible, even though the DO forced him to do it.
Coming from someone whom has been through a situation that nearly cost me my mind, it is a pretty ugly feeling losing parts of your self that you hold dear. I suffered this from losing ONE person dear to me, granted from a vehicle accident that I was not in, but if I had lost control and killed this person, I would have gone mad; I know I would.
After all, my humanity and conscience would not have let me do anything else but go insane.
Always looking forward to these theories Mashiara! Great post as always!

Hi there St. Rukos! Great to see you posting again!

I have read the Ravens prologue, and actually have the graphic novel version of the EoTW from Ravens to the group leaving the Two Rivers. I also had the belief that Tam was a Hundred Companion reborn as well; however, I felt that there was an almost overwhelming sense that he was denial that he had actually found Rand on Dragonmount, and that he as just an abandoned baby, not the Dragon Reborn himself.

I just quite enjoyed reading the post title. It says it all. Another great post. I remember that scene as well spoke. Great catch!

I really like this mirror world theory. It would make huge sense, judging from Perrin's POV when killing Slayer. This makes huge sense to me. Great post Mashiara!!
-
I also like the evolution theory the best, as it is the most logical step. Perhaps that is the change everyone is talking about coming in our time? The return of channelling? It bears thinking about. Anywho........onwards to Cage Match!
-
Wooow. I like this theory of Nakomi being the embodiment of the Pattern and the Wheel. It makes alot of sense to me.
-
Do pictures for the sword forms actually exist? From this answer, it sounds like they do!!!!
-
I also like this idea...... it is an amazingly logical theory!!!! I really like it!!!
-
Very funny! You have read some of my theories. Anyway we all still have LOADS of ideas of the books :D

Has anyone ever questioned that the terms Last Battle and Tarmon Gai'don seemed to point to two separate battles? Considering that the wolves in both Randland and T'A'R were all running north in ToM, I will have to say a combination of location and for the wolves the choice to fight. They came to fight Darkhounds because they were the only ones that could stop them. Balefire would have been to dangerous, and that is the only way a channeler can destroy the darkhounds.
What do you all think??
Great post as always Mashiara!!
-
I do not think she lied there at all. It just means that the prisoner could not hear at that moment. Anyway, did not Pevara alert Emarin that the prisoner could here later?? Considering my trak record, probably not!!! :D

Mashiara, it is important to remember that the Aes Sedai were not sure wether Elaida's Foretelling was Power related as such. Androl's Talent is with Travelling, which is a Power related ability. It did not do much in the LB in any case, as Demandred had the ability to manipulate gateways, and used it at least once against Androl. It is also worth mentioning that these types of bonds would have amazing potential, but as you have mentioned it would have unpredictable repercussions if they were ever severed. Cool theory in any case!!
-
I think it is more along the lines of using each other's abilities, such as Pevara using Androl's Talent with Travelling. That would be sooo coool!!!

Woooow!!! Cool image!!
