It is a risk. but after reading this, I am still really excited.

That is the reason for my reservation about the Moiraine focus. Been burned too many times, in fact the 13th Doctor means I cannot leave the fire I stepped into, since it is in my view the first time in 55 years , the Doctor is meh. If they focus on the characters from the books, then I will at least find something in it to enjoy. If I smell another 13th Doctor and all that comes with that, then no, unless they go from Rand and the boys perspective when that attitude shows up.. Then it will make sense. Otherwise no. Hence my mixed feelings, even though I am still really excited.

The show's perspective from the three women worries me. Moiraine's perspective for this season is great, but what happens when we get to the Docks battle?? Nynaeve's focus is really not quite up to pasture thanks to Elayne and all of that. Looking forward to the Moghie fight. As long as they also focus on the Three, especially Rand. He drives the entire story. Apart from these worries, I am in. I hope that they deliver, I have been extremely excited since it was first announced last year.

Cool review!! I have heard of this series, and know that it is a really cool take on the superhero genre. I will take a look in the future.

There is a need for a fantasy title that can take over from GoT on TV, with a huge thirst for fantasy from the audience that not only watches it, but is demanding more. Only WoT can fill that vacuum. The fact that a studio has picked it up is great news. Especially that GoT is finishing in the next few years, this is the perfect time too strike. When GoT finally finishes, this should be about ready to go. But only if the studio wishes to proceed, of course.

I wonder whom the studio is ?? Only a few days to find out :)

Having read a few comics in my life since I was a child, I find them really great!! The one comic book I would love to see is a proper telling of The Killing Joke which I have just finished and is amazing!! Another is one that is actually Easter egged in the Batman vs Superman trailer, namely A Death In The Family.

I saw it on You Tube. I actually enjoyed it considering it was an attempt. It was not at the level of other shows because it was not. As a first real look outside fan fiction it was for me interesting. But I too would prefer Anime. I think Laurent Pictures behind the Berserks would be a good start

I remember reading Logain's view of Rand. It made me want to own the first book!!! I to love how RJ wove his story. It makes me happy, but also worried about any adaptations because of it. Great post Mashiara!!! These are fun :)

Great post!! It is exactly as I felt about Rand all along and why he is my favorite character. It also hinted at what would come later in the series. Such good writing here!!  

i want one!! But I do not think I would be able to import it!! It looks so beautiful to look at. Bougher, the swords were meant to be handed either two hands or one with equal ease. It is two handed cause I do not think I could lift the bloody thing myself without working in a gym.........

It is interesting about that cut Ogier segment. But I actually like how they got to visit a thriving stedding that complete with the Great Trees we heard so much about as a reward. I am at the Last Battle now one or two pages in, but I cannot remember either!! I also find that outside the Big Three, Loial is my favorite character, and his knowledge plays a huge part in the series going forward. Great to read Mashiara!!

That was a flashback!?!? Wow. Lucky I am reading those chapters myself. I even totally missed Bunts name!!! I am an example of missing details and being confused about it. But it is fun confusion. I loved the difference between Gode and Paitr. A very good contrast between Dark friends and emphasised later by Birgitte's story.
