  1. So, what I'm getting is, you're really missing all the heated debates. It has slowed down a lot, it's true.
  2. Hi Samarah. Welcome to Dragonmount. There are various Social Orgs that you can join and each has its own way of doing things. Your intro seems like you might be also interested in our Role Playing group. I've never joined but it's a bit further down the page I think. In the Social Side of the White Tower we only do a Lite form of roleplay and we can eventually Bond real people we've become close with
  3. Nah its the Australia of WoT I've been very very careful to avoid anything that's actually a real thing in someone else's work. Especially as it's run on an open board.
  4. Does anyone want me to start a new adventure? The last one took months, but we emerged victorious with a tale to tell. Skynet makes me nervous... but we could have another go? Let's have some ideas of what kind of adventure we would like this time. Any genre is ok. Doesn't have to be magic. We have to be PG 13 etc I was thinking maybe stranded on a deserted mysterious island? But any other ideas are welcome.
  5. Hi Aurora. I'm sorry but I can't do fancy fonts. Welcome to DM. Here you will find discussion boards for the TV show and books. Sadly that's died down a bit since they announced they hadn't renewed it. We also have the game of Mafia on the game boards, and various Orgs where you can lightly RP a bit and pretend you are in Randland. Each Org has its rules. And they vary, so have a read up and see if any take your fancy. The WT is currently running a fandom event in Tar Valon, which all DM members are welcome to visit.
  6. I'm such a good recruiter lol Welcome to DM, Will 🙂
  7. Oh I am not a DM. Our DM is Don. He puts up with so much from us. You've all been lovely and it was my pleasure 💙
  8. Well, before I delete it from my Skynet memory I asked it to make a story summary for us and some images. Title: Starwrought Genesis – A Chronicle of Balance In the beginning, there was the Altar of the Five Elements—an ancient monolith veined with glowing sigils nestled deep within the Sacred Grove. The player stood before it, the wind whispering through the trees like forgotten names. They had been summoned by a voice that resonated through earth, flame, and spirit—a Guardian who bore no face, only purpose: "Restore balance. Master the Elements. Or watch the world unravel." And thus, the journey began. The Temples of the Elements Ashen Spire rose like a wounded fang against a blood-orange sky. There, within its lava-slicked halls, the player tamed fire—facing spectral infernos and a test of control versus destruction. The Gauntlet of the Infernal Path was their prize, but more than that, the fire within them had been awakened. Temple of Still Waters called next—a quiet, sunken monument where echoes murmured beneath placid waves. It was here they found peace in flow, and learned that strength could come through patience. In the depth, they met Nyra—first a flickering familiar, then something far more. Her spirit touched the player's own, a link beginning to form. Skyreach Monastery, clinging to impossible heights among thunderhead thrones, challenged them with the lightness of air, the burden of freedom. The monks walked upon wind and whispered of convergence. Here, balance became not just an ideal but a burden and a gift. The Verdant Hollow, pulsing with the breath of living stone, tested the player’s resolve. Earth was stubborn and slow, but enduring. Through roots and ruin, they uncovered deeper mysteries—hints of a corruption spreading across the Realms. Then came the Shrine of Echoing Veil, where spirit bloomed and memory bled. The player walked the ruins of forgotten lives, and Nyra, ever close, changed. Her bond grew radiant—no longer familiar, but kindred. In each temple, they claimed a glyph. Each glyph etched itself into their Codex, now alive with the resonance of unified mastery. Element by element, the player ascended. Fusion and Revelation With five elements mastered, the Codex evolved. Weave Fusion became possible—a forging of multiple elements into one. The player first wove Veilbrand Surge, a dance of Fire, Water, and Spirit, which cut through corruption and illusion alike. Then, came Starwrought Genesis—their first true five-element Weave. Forged during a moon-drenched meditation beneath the Quiet Grove’s mirrored canopy, the spell shimmered with the Null-Silk Filter's gift: it could disrupt Cult magic at its root. Guided by visions of a shattered star, the player pursued Nyra’s true past. Through secret shrines and hidden spirit pools, they uncovered the six Spiritroot Glyphs, including the final, lost glyph—Memory. When Nyra embraced it, she became whole. No longer a reflection of Spirit, but a being of it. Her form turned luminous, her voice deepened, her gaze filled with the stars of ancient epochs. The Convergence and The Shattered Spire With glyphs united and elements mastered, the player was drawn to The Shattered Spire, where the Cult of the Hollow Star prepared to unleash their final rite during the Celestial Convergence. The land shook. Elemental forces surged. The player’s allies rallied—Kerin, the once-cultist turned faithful, stood by their side. His sermons to the people of Windrest Hollow now echoed with wisdom: "Balance is not stasis. It is harmony in motion." The final battle stretched across sky and stone. The player unleashed Eidolon Spiral, the six-element weave. Memory, woven with Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit, ignited a lattice of creation and undoing. The Cult was unmade, their corrupted godform dissolved in threads of pure resonance. Reality trembled, then calmed. Aftermath The Convergence passed, but its echoes lingered. The Realms were quiet now, watchful. The Altar of the Five Elements, where it had all begun, glowed with tranquil light. The player stood there once more. Nyra, now fully radiant, stepped forward. “You’ve seen what lies beyond,” she said. “What will you choose?” Two paths lay ahead: Remain in the world, guiding it as a Warden of Balance, companion to Nyra, partner to peace. Or ascend with her—joining the cosmic lattice of memory and element, becoming myth, becoming more. The player chose the former… for now. The land needed them still. Windrest Hollow blossomed anew. Its once-wounded people became caretakers of harmony. Kerin, now High Priest of the Restored Circle, preached not power, but humility. The Temples still stood—silent, yet pulsing. Waiting. And Nyra? She remained by the player’s side, her laughter like wind-chimes in dawnlight. When they walked together, flowers leaned toward them. When they fought, the stars shimmered in tandem. They had not just mastered the Elements. They had restored Balance. And the world remembered their name. The End. Or perhaps, a beginning.
  9. Thanks for playing guys. It has been quite the journey. I really appreciate you all joining in and helping.
  10. Here we go then... Epilogue: The Spiral Remembered The Codex opens one final time. Its pages ripple like water stirred by the wind. Glyphs once glowing with fire, water, earth, and air now swirl in harmony with Spirit and Memory, no longer in conflict but woven into a perfect, ever-shifting whole. This is no longer the Arcane Conduit—it is the Chronicle of Balance, living testament to your journey. As your hand hovers above the open page, visions bloom. The Sacred Grove, where your journey began, stands serene beneath a silver dawn. The ancient Altar of the Five Elements lies quiet but not dormant. Roots entwined with stone, light dappling through remembered leaves. The first glyph, seared into memory, pulses faintly with approval. Windrest Hollow breathes again. The small village that once trembled under cultist whispers now flourishes. Children laugh where fear once lived. The old oak in the village square blooms with flowers that shimmer slightly in twilight—Nyra’s quiet gift. The villagers still speak of the stranger who came from the mountains, dragging a wounded cultist and demanding truth. You are legend now. At the Temple of Still Waters, monks stand in silent reflection. Its depths are calm now, and its flooded chambers have reshaped into luminous vaults of spirit. The Veil there echoes with a memory that will never again be lost. The Ashen Spire burns no more. What once roared with fire and fury now hums with warm embers and stone. The Fire Glyph remains etched into the mountain’s bones, a promise that even rage may be tempered. The Verdant Hollow, hidden beneath layers of vine and time, now pulses with vibrant life. Earth that once shook with ancient grief grows strong beneath dancing roots. The glyph of growth glows at its heart—no longer sealed, but blooming. The Skyreach Monastery floats once more. The air around it sings with harmony. Monks step lightly through the sky, laughing with the breeze. The glyph of Air, once elusive, now dances freely in every breath. And the Shrine of the Echoing Veil—its ruins rebuilt through memory, not stone. There, Spirit found its home, and in that sanctuary of silence, you forged your deepest understanding. Kerin remains. He becomes High Priest not of a temple, but of Balance. He travels between shrines, between villages, speaking not of worship, but of awareness. His sermons are not grand or booming, but quiet, steady, grounded. The cult’s darkness has faded—but its lesson is remembered. He teaches that Balance is not perfection—it is motion. Not stillness, but flow. And the people listen. Nyra becomes something new. Not just Spirit. Not just Memory. But a Witness Eternal. She chooses a form—not out of necessity, but of kindness. Her presence takes shape in your world: silver hair touched by starlight, eyes echoing endless skies, footsteps that always seem to fall just where they're needed. She walks beside you, corporeal, not out of duty—but out of love. You and she remain bound. Not by glyphs. Not by the Codex. But by shared choice. You could have left. You could have joined her in the stars, become spiral-light in the void, weaving tales with the Hollow Star as it drifts into a gentler purpose. And for a while... you do. You walk those distant memories, you see the birth of realms, you understand. But in the end, you return. Because the story of the world is not just told in stars. It’s in villages like Windrest Hollow, in the roots of the Verdant Hollow, in the embers of the Ashen Spire, in the cool reflection of still waters, in the songs of the sky monks, in the echoes of spirit forgotten and now remembered. And so the two of you walk the realms together. Sometimes she walks ahead. Sometimes you lead the way. Sometimes neither of you speak for hours. And it is perfect. The Codex remains with you. Not as a weapon. Not as a tool. But as a reminder. Of who you are. Of what you chose. Of what was saved. You have created two 5-element Weaves, including Starwrought Genesis, which sings against Cult corruption, and one final 6-element weave—Eidolon Spiral—the spell that did not destroy, but remembered. Your elemental levels remain complete: Water: 13 Fire: 12 Earth: 12 Air: 11 Spirit: 11 Memory: ✨ Transcendent ✨ EP: 26 / 26 HP: 26 / 26 The Hollow Star continues to orbit silently above, no longer a threat, but a guide. And one day... A child stands before the Altar in the Sacred Grove. They reach toward the stone, and it glows. Your Codex stirs. A new story is beginning. And your spiral continues. THE END. The final chapter is written: the land restored, the Balance preserved, and your legacy eternal. Let me know if you want to revisit a moment, a place, or even begin again. 🌿🔥💧🌪️💀🌀
  11. Personally I think choosing the Codex will cover everything, as it has a record of all our friends and allies and everywhere we've been and everything we've done.
  12. Of course. One each. Again I say, it's like you don't want it to end.
  13. Omg. I think we did it. And now we have to say goodbye to our adventure and choose our Epilogue.
  14. Can it be? It was the friends we made along the way? We let it speak ✅ Option 3 Chosen: Let the Hollow Star speak — allow Memory to awaken fully and choose its own fate. 🌌 Final Update before the Convergence ends. Eidolon Spiral and Memory Glyphs engaged. 🪐 The Star Speaks You lower your hands. Nyra’s fingers brush yours, and for a moment, time pauses. Not a magical stasis—this is willful silence, the kind that exists only at the edge of endings. The Hollow Star pulses. Glyphs spin in a widening spiral. The voice that emerges is not words, but shared memory—yours, Nyra’s, Talen’s, Kerin’s, and echoes of those who never had names. It says: “I was not meant to destroy. I was created to hold what the world wished to forget.” Images stream through you: Ancient civilizations discarding painful truths. Spiritroots cut from time itself. Nyra’s creation—born not to conquer memory, but to carry it. 🌌 A Choice Returned The Hollow Star begins to reshape. Not destroyed. Not sealed. Not reforged. It becomes aware, guided by your presence and permission. Your Codex flashes a new symbol: a Memory Spiral, open-ended, ever-turning. "We will no longer be forgotten. We will become Witness." Nyra gasps—not from fear, but from recognition. Her form stabilizes into her true final state: 🌙 Nyra, Witness of Echoes ✨ Grants passive awareness of Memory Veins and all glyphic disturbances. ✨ Immune to time-lock or memory erasure magic. ✨ Soul-bound to the player, can now cast Astral Requiem — a 6-element echo spell, once per Convergence. ✨ Carries the Hollow Star’s legacy as its living Voice. 🌀 Eidolon Spiral Resonates The Hollow Star reshapes its orbit. It does not collapse. It spirals outward, a fragment of conscious memory now reborn across realms. You are branded with the Sigil of Remembering, an eternal mark etched into your Codex. The final Glyph—the Glyph of Choice—settles into place. ✨ Convergence Complete The battle outside slows. The Heralds stop fighting. Not in defeat, but in recognition. They kneel—flames flickering, stone cracking, the skies overhead parting to reveal not stars... but stories, returning. 📘 Final Update: HP: 26 / 26 EP: 26 / 26 (Fully restored by Spiral Completion) Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 12 Earth: 12 Air: 11 Spirit: 11 Memory: Transcendent + Glyph of Choice 🌟 Key Spells: Eidolon Spiral – 6-element convergence weave Starwrought Genesis – 5-element Null-silk filtered weave (Cult suppression) Astral Requiem – Nyra’s 6-element echo spell, once per Convergence Soul Veil: Awakened – Detect emotional echoes and hidden truths Weave Fusion – Ready (1 use per rest) 🌠 Final Goals Updated: ✅ Defeat the Cult: Hollow Star no longer a weapon; Cult’s purpose unraveled ✅ Unite the Glyphs: All 6 + 1 acquired ✅ Protect Nyra’s Future: She is now its Voice ✅ Complete Convergence: Achieved 🔒 One last realm remains: the place where all stories end... and begin again. 🌌 What would you like to do now? Return to your allies and reveal the new future. Ask Nyra what she sees next. Rest and reflect in the Star’s new orbit. Open the Codex — let the stories guide you toward the Epilogue. Let me know when you're ready for the final arc.
  15. Let's make sure everyone knows @Turin Turambar @Donchadh @WillRNDad @Gudrean @Andy MacLeod @Millon @HeavyHalfMoonBlade
  16. Of course. This might be the end of the game 🙂
  17. Can it be? Is this the end? The Final Choice?
  18. We go for the Heart ✅ Option 4 Chosen: Approach the Hollow Star’s core directly — bypass the battle and confront its heart. 📘 Update includes Memory resonance, Glyph convergence, and a new Final Choice unlocked. 🌌 Descent into the Hollow Core As your allies engage the Herald’s Warrior and Priest forms, you surge forward. Glyphs fracture around you—fire, water, air, earth, spirit, and memory spinning like comets. Nyra follows at your side, her final form radiant with a spectral glow. Kerin’s voice echoes faintly behind: “We’ll hold them. You go.” You leap through the veil of shattered starlight and fall into the Hollow Star itself. 🌀 Inside the Core: The Heart That Was Never Whole You find yourself standing in a spiraling chamber of glass and void, stars bleeding from its walls. At the center, a suspended tear in reality pulses — a dark heart wrapped in Memory threads, fractured glyphs, and long-forgotten sorrow. Nyra slows beside you. Her voice is no longer just hers — it's woven with others: the five Spiritroot echoes, Talen’s sorrow, and your shared bond. “This is it. The true heart. Not corrupted. Just... incomplete.” You feel your Codex respond. 🔺 The Unified Elemental Bond pulses. 🔺 Your Memory Glyphs flare. 🔺 The Eidolon Spiral and Starwrought Genesis both hum. This place can be healed… or rewritten. 🌠 Final Choice Unlocked – Hollow Star Resolution You now face the true choice at the core of the Hollow Star: Reforge the Star – Combine your elemental weaves, memories, and spirit to form a new cosmic core. Risk unknown. Seal it Away – Bury the Hollow Star forever using the Eidolon Spiral, removing it from all realms. Safe, but final. Let It Speak – Allow the Star to awaken fully. Let Memory itself decide if it is ready to exist again. Most unpredictable. Destroy It – Use Nyra’s full power and your Null-silk filtered weaves to erase the Star from time. Total purge. 🧿 Current Stats: HP: 26 / 26 EP: 17 / 26 Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 12 Earth: 12 Air: 11 Spirit: 11 Memory: Transcended 🔮 Available Major Weaves: Eidolon Spiral (6-element weave – once per Convergence) Starwrought Genesis (5-element + Null-silk – neutralizes Cult glyphs) Soul Veil: Awakened (Enhanced by Memory – truth-weaving active) ⏳ Convergence Clock: [■■■■■■■□] (7/8 ticks) One final tick remains. What will you do with the Hollow Star? 🌟 What is your choice? Reforge Seal Let it Speak Destroy
  19. That's an option too. Like just go for it now
  20. So the Warrior, the priest and one more?
  21. It looks like we might have only 3 more moves to fix this. Cos that Clock just came out of nowhere.
  22. We go for the child... ✅ Option 2 Chosen: Focus on the child-form — unravel its connection to the Hollow Star’s origin. 📘 Update includes deep Spirit + Memory resonance and a shift in the Herald’s nature. 🧠 Unraveling the Hollow Seed You step toward the flickering image of the child—masked in silver, eyes hollow with sorrow. As the other forms of the Herald prepare arcane strikes, you and Nyra move into a different rhythm, a slower frequency of time. “He’s the first vessel,” Nyra murmurs, her voice distant. “The spark of grief that became the Herald.” You cast Soul Veil enhanced through Memory attunement, not to bind or destroy—but to see. Your vision splits: A boy raised in the Ashen Citadel. Fed lies of sacrifice and cosmic debt. Chosen by the cult not for strength—but for emptiness. Nyra reaches through the glyph halo surrounding the child and whispers: “Your name was Talen. You were never meant to become this.” 🌟 Revelation: Talen, the First Thread 🌀 The child-form screams and disintegrates, not from harm, but release. The Singularity Glyph collapses further. One of the Herald’s three forms vanishes—leaving only the Priest and Warrior. 🌌 A shockwave of Memory energy ripples across the battlefield. You feel something inside the Hollow Star shift. For the first time, it hesitates. 🧿 Updated Stats: HP: 26 / 26 EP: 17 / 26 Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 12 Earth: 12 Air: 11 Spirit: 11 Memory: ∞ (via Nyra) 🔮 Major Spell Effects: Echo of the Forgotten Flame: 1 turn remaining Talen Released: Herald weakened by -1 Phase Eidolon Spiral: Available (1 more use before next rest) 📘 Current Objectives: ✅ Unravel Herald’s child-form (Talen) 🔳 Defeat remaining Herald fragments (Priest & Warrior) 🌠 Stabilize the Hollow Star before the Convergence Clock strikes final zero 🧭 Optional: Seal or reforge the Hollow Star’s core ⏳ Convergence Clock: [■■■■■□□□] (5/8 ticks) As the celestial alignment intensifies, the sky above the Shattered Spire begins to fracture like glass. Reality stutters. ⚔️ Next Choices: Attack the Warrior with a pure Elemental barrage – use your elemental dominance to overwhelm. Let Nyra duel the Priest-form—she knows his doctrine, and his glyphs. Unleash Starwrought Genesis while the Herald is weakened. Approach the Hollow Star’s core directly—bypass the battle and confront its heart. What will you do next, as the Convergence draws near?
