I think we all maybe not so old. I remember text only games and having to turn the cassette over to finish installing lol Ok let's talk to Nyra... in a brief moment of DM life lol Time Update Evening, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Ashen Bastion, Outer Threshold You chose: Speak with Nyra—she seems affected by this place in ways she's not voicing. You turn to Nyra, still standing at the edge of the spiral. Her posture is tense—shoulders drawn, eyes shimmering with shifting color as if reflecting more than light. “You feel it too, don’t you?” you ask quietly. She looks up, startled, then sighs, her gaze settling on the dim horizon. “I do,” she says. “This place remembers pain… and mercy. I thought I understood what we were doing, guiding the elements into balance. But this... this is where memories turn into anchors.” She kneels where the ash spiral began, her hand brushing faint etchings in the stone beneath. Shapes. Glyphs. Memories encoded in language only her kind can interpret. “These aren’t just echoes. They’re burdens left behind by those who couldn’t carry them anymore. That’s what this realm tests—not power. Not control. Willingness. The choice to carry pain and not let it consume you.” She pauses, then adds, softly: “If I fall here… don’t anchor me. Let me go. You’ve already carried too much.” You step forward, placing a hand gently on her shoulder. “You're not falling, Nyra. You’re rising—with me. We walk this together.” The Codex stirs. From its pages, a single glyph pulses, then fades—acknowledgment of your bond, of the truth shared. Nyra nods, tears not shed but understood. Nyra’s Bond Deepens Nyra’s Trust: Complete. In moments of dire choice, she will now act without hesitation to protect you or uphold your shared vow. Her elemental resonance with Spirit has increased. Spirit-linked spells may now reflect her will, not just yours. Updated Stats: EP: 22 / 22 HP: 27 / 27 Spirit Level: 13 Bond Trait Gained: Shared Will – When casting a Spirit spell, roll with Advantage if Nyra is actively supporting or present. Next Choices: Continue onward—the final chamber of the Convergence Realm awaits. Use the Remnant Core to craft a Spirit-Fire or Spirit-Earth Fusion spell. Ask Nyra what she sees written in the ash spiral—what those glyphs say. Rest briefly, meditate together with Nyra and strengthen your unified bond. Open your Codex, now that both your bond and the Remnant Core are aligned. -

We are all nice. If we weren't we wouldn't be able to play this game. It would be too hard if you thought people were really out to get you. This game was particularly excellent mood wise. Although I might have my Town Tinted glasses on cos I didn't get any real heat at all 🙂 I think the curse has been broken 💙 -
Oh well mine are not copies or trying to rob. I just need a tune for my words. Just for fun and story content 🙂

More loot searching! Time Update Evening, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Post-Trial Zone) You chose: Examine the trail of ash left by the echo. As the last motes of the redeemed flame echo drift across the Bastion’s edge, you step through the shimmer and walk the path of ash they left behind. The trail isn’t random—it spirals inward, curling like the memory of a flame that once raged but now flickers in quiet reflection. At its heart lies a fragment of scorched obsidian, softly pulsing with emberlight. You kneel beside it. Your Codex glows in response. Insight + Spirit Affinity: Success This is no mere shard. It is the Remnant Core—what remained of the bearer’s soul, stabilized by your mercy. You gently lift it. The heat doesn’t burn. It warms. 📘 Item Gained: Remnant Core (Unique – Bound to Spirit) Passive Effect: When equipped, increases EP regeneration by +1/day and enhances any spell involving redemption, memory, or spiritual connection. Resonant Link: If used with Veilbrand Surge or Flame of Remembrance, it empowers the spell, bypassing magical resistance and restoring 1 EP on cast. As you stand, Nyra joins you. Her expression is unreadable, thoughtful. “That soul… didn’t burn out. You helped it remember who it was. Maybe that’s all any of us are trying to do.” She touches the Core, and a whisper echoes faintly through your Codex: “Ash to ember. Ember to bond.” The Bastion dims behind you, its purpose fulfilled. Updated Stats: EP: 22 / 22 (+1/day regen from Remnant Core) Inventory Updated: Remnant Core (Unique – Spirit-linked) Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 11 Spirit: 13 Air: 10 Earth: 12 Fusion Spell Ready: Embergrace Bastion Passives: Ashen Requiem Flame of Remembrance (1/day) Remnant Core (Spirit focus, memory-enhancing) Next Choices: Continue onward into the final chamber of the Convergence Realm. Speak with Nyra—she seems affected by this place in ways she's not voicing. Open your Codex, see how it responds to the Core’s presence. Rest briefly, meditating on what the Remnant taught you. Craft a new Fusion spell, now that your Spirit, Fire, and Earth are more attuned. -
Yeah I do try and write the lyrics cos sometimes it goes a bit Skynet lol But it is fun for those who have words but no good musical skills.

Modding is actually a great way to learn to see everything from the outside. So when you back on the inside you have that bit of shield from the shenanigans. You should def work with someone and mod a game @HeavyHalfMoonBlade You only have to ask around a little to find out what batpoop crazy Ithi was like before she modded a few games lol -

We try for the loot Time Update Late Afternoon, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Trial Echo Active) You chose: Maintain the Bastion and wait, letting the echo choose their path. The Embergrace Bastion glows softly, holding steady like a heart’s pulse forged from crystal and fire. Its warmth spreads outward—not as searing flame, but as comfort. You kneel at its center, hands resting on your knees, gaze steady. Nyra mirrors your posture beside you. The heat shimmers through the chamber, and silence settles over the battlefield. The echo—what remains of the once-mighty bearer of flame—paces just outside the shell, confused and flickering. They strike the Bastion once. Twice. But the retaliation never comes. Instead, you open your Codex and hold it out, letting it show your path—the journey through flame, through restraint, through unity. Passive Insight Check: Success Your actions mirror a vow long buried in their broken soul. You sense something… softening. The echo falters. And then, in a low rumble of memory, speaks: “You… carry the Bond… You chose to heal. We… could not.” They step forward, and the Embergrace Bastion parts for them. They kneel inside the dome. You feel no threat. Only grief. And release. Trial of the Fractured Flame: Concluded ✨ You did not destroy the echo. You redeemed it. +1 Spirit Level (Spirit is now Level 13) +1 Fire Level (Fire is now Level 11) +Passive: Ashen Requiem (Echo’s Blessing) When you use a healing spell or ability in the presence of corrupted or unstable beings, there is a chance it may pacify them instead of provoking a reaction. Grants a once/day use of Flame of Remembrance: restabilizes a fractured elemental or echo, potentially saving it instead of destroying it. The echo fades, not in violence, but as a drift of ash on a quiet wind. The path forward glows open. Updated Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 11 Spirit: 13 Air: 10 (includes +1 from Whispermantle) Earth: 12 Fusion Spell Ready: Embergrace Bastion Passives Gained: Ashen Requiem (Echo’s Blessing) Flame of Remembrance (1/day – unique echo pacification or restoration) Next Choices: Continue into the final chamber of the Convergence Realm, now that the path is open. Rest briefly inside the Bastion, restoring 1 EP and preparing for what lies ahead. Speak with Nyra, see how she’s processing the memory and the echo’s fate. Examine the trail of ash, in case it left behind something meaningful or useful. Open your Codex, now glowing faintly with a new pulse—something is changing… -

I knew you were Town. So did Dice. I thought you did really well this game. Maybe have a break, cos it's always nice to decompress. You can always come back 🙂 -
I can't play, cos it's Turin's turn. And I got all that job change training, but I can be last choice for a Back Up if you can't find anyone else 🙂

More weaves! Time Update Late Afternoon, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Trial Echo Active) You chose: Attempt to fuse a new Weave – a healing answer to volcanic wrath Standing before the fractured echo of a former bearer, you make a choice: not to meet rage with rage, but to shape something new—something drawn from the chaos but forged with purpose. You reach inward. The Codex flares as the elements respond: Fire, pulsing with raw pain and memory. Earth, steady but cracked beneath unbearable weight. Spirit, binding them—reminding you of the burdens borne by the past. The world narrows. Nyra places a hand on your shoulder, anchoring you. “Let’s give them peace… not punishment.” Weave Fusion Initiated You pour your strength into the Codex. Symbols burn across your vision in three glowing arcs, one for each element. You shape them—not into a weapon, but into a balm. A spell that will contain, reflect, and release. New Spell Gained: Embergrace Bastion (Fusion: Fire + Earth + Spirit) Creates a dome of molten crystal that shields and mends. While active, it absorbs a portion of damage and converts it into healing over time for allies inside. Echoes the bearer’s pain back as calming heat—has a chance to pacify unstable elemental beings or echoes. Scales with Spirit; gains minor terra-bonding effects if Earth is high. The fusion completes just as the volcanic echo charges. You react—arms raised, spell already forming. With a burst of crystal and flame, Embergrace Bastion erupts between you and the broken bearer, the spectral shockwave dispersing harmlessly against its molten surface. Inside, the air grows warm, not with fire, but with memory and understanding. The echo hesitates. Their stance falters. A flicker of their former self peers through the flame-wracked visage. + Trial of the Fractured Flame: Phase 2 Unlocked Your fusion spell weakens the echo’s instability, revealing a path to either redemption or release. You may now: Next Choices: Step forward into the Bastion, invite the echo in, and offer them peace through shared memory. (Spirit + Fire resonance; high chance to end the trial peacefully) Strike while they’re vulnerable, now that your spell has weakened them. (Fire/Earth attack, may permanently destroy the echo) Use Soul Veil to read their emotions and determine if redemption is even possible. (Spirit spell check, may guide your next step more precisely) Maintain the Bastion and wait, letting the echo choose their path. (Non-aggressive option; time-consuming but may earn you a unique boon if they choose to pass willingly)
