Hrm. Well, there goes what I was hoping for down the drain. I was kind of hoping she wasn't the watcher and just claimed it to get out of the lynch as Vanilla that way the real watcher could still do their thing. Alas, it was not meant to be.

2) You're still wrong.  I sussed them both, and voted who I thought more likely at the time to be scum.  When the claim came out, I switched - essentially to my #2.  I have no case to build on MrsClov, and I have no idea where you're trying to go with this. We need to settle this D2 100%, because I'm not going to accept you casting shade on me as I try to move forward here.

 

1) I know that. And yeah, you'd be accountable just like everyone else who had voted her but there was ~plausible reason for the vote which a good number of people were compelled by so it was semi-justifiable at least. What matters to me is who you voted and when, that's my point. Everything else beyond that is just posturing.

 

2) You say you had Hallia as your #2, that's fine. My point is that I see potential in what could be you setting up a future mislynch. You vote Wifi after sussing MrsClov, Wifi flips town and now you have a plausible reason to push against MrsClov next. Catch my drift? And I'm not stopping you from moving forward, I am pointing out things that I think could be important. If you were just wrong, I can accept that and I will continue reading you objectively. But I would be remiss not to point out potential scum play when I think I see it, especially since players of your skill work on a more subvert level.

I'm kind of glad that wasn't the case tbh. D2 could've gotten messy if the real Watcher decided to counter claim in the event Wifi wasn't killed for whatever reason.

Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong, but Bop noticed that she said this was her 14th game and she played as scum 3 times. He checked her sig and showed only 2 scum games listed, so he asked if this was her 3rd scum game. She responded by putting him in her null to scum pile. I believe some of the others are for posts that were not great as well.

I'd rather lynch Hallia, but I'm not opposed to a Wildfire lynch either. I haven't really been able to connect with her line of thought.

Ah ok, found it.  I had a sense that 1 of Hallia/Wifi would be scum, but I was leaning Wifi based on what I've already said.  I had some sus of Hallia, and was close to voting her, but then I quoted the above (from MrsClov).....like I said, her phrasing keeps making me frown and it weirded me out.  A little fence-sitty, even though she said she preferred Hallia.  Still a null-to-town feel on MrsClov from me, so I thought a lynch on Wifi would help clear my head on the subject.

 

I can't really explain it better than that - it popped into my head as I read and I commented on it.  I reserve the right to re-evaluate, which I think will make MrsClov look a bit better, for now.

 

But those statements still make me go "hmm".

 

 

I'm trying to figure out if I'm flattered that you're using terms like "a bit better" and "null-to-town feel" to describe your thoughts on me, or not, implying that I could somehow be scum. I get that if you're town you have no idea to know what my alignment is, but things like that make me feel like you're scum still trying to throw shade my way somehow.  I've never been considered a particularly strong player on either site I've played, and so if you're town and really truly think there's a possibility that I could bus Hallia when I voted her, well then thank you for thinking my game is that good, because I assure you it's not. But when I voted her, there was hardly any pressure on her. Dice was on her and while some people may have had some leaning towards her it wouldn't have made sense to bus her there and stay there when the wildfire counter wagon went down. I could have switched my vote to Wildfire, easily at any time for the mislynch and kept Hallia alive if I were scum. But I didn't. I continued to express that I would rather lynch Hallia, and why I wanted to lynch her and thought I was being pretty adamant on it. I get that not everyone is going to have me as lock town after Hallia's flip, but you're the only one, as far as I can tell, that's throwing shade my way. Which is why what AJ is saying about you trying to set me up as a mislynch makes sense to me. Maybe I'm paranoid and reading into too many hypotheticals, but I truly do not think you are town.

However, I think him saying he was going to vote Hallia for her defense of Darthe (his scum read) is backwards. There was no evaluation of Hallia beyond that.

the choices of people getting lynched at that point were wifi and hallia(iirc), and the fact that he chose the wolf over the villager is a good enough look IMO for today. hopefully he'll expand his reads beyond darthe and I can have something else to clear him over other than the vote.
