She typically reads me a lot better than she lets herself believe, and not having a feel for me yet isn't bad necessarily, it just fails to woo me with radiant villageriness.

Alright then, so far I can say that the joke phase threw me off a little, especially given last game when you were scum. I'm not sure how to read your joke phase. We did mindmeld over Wifi, so that's good, not that I think necessarily scum Shad would need to hedge on her for a mislynch anyway, but it was a good sign.

 

Generally I hope to have a better idea when I'm done catching up.

Not exactly scum reads but these are my musings....

 

 

Halli was kinda distracted last night so we didn't talk much about the game. But from a previous talk,  she said she doesn't like Tiinker so far. I feel like both him and Lenlo are kinda floating right now. I wasn't overly impressed with the reads he did end up giving (Tiink). And Lenlo just hasn't been here which could mean anything. But the more time passes, the worse it looks, imo.

 

Sooh I'm watching. I feel like her heart isn't in it, but I don't feel like super confident about it and I wanna see what she does from this point onward. Hallia is kinda null on her, from what I recall.

 

I've been kinda poking at DPR, where's Hallia has him as a town lean. His latest posts feel better to me, though. I mean at first i thought he might be trolling for lulz, but it feels more like incredulity now if that makes sense. As in it feels more like he's annoyed? vs just doing these fillers. It comes across like he feels it's worth pointing out how absurd it all is. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well... probably not. But his reaction reminds me of how I reacted last game to the same thing (minus the temper).... and I get it. So overall keeping an eye but probably less suspicious than I was early on. Not ready to give him a town lean though.

 

Also looking forward for random to show after his RL stuff and dig in. Last game I seemed to do ok at reading him so... hopefully that becomes a trend with us.

 

NB... no freaking clue. I'm taking it as a good sign that he's replying to my questions. Because sometimes he doesn't. But there isn't much to work with, for me. So like, I have no idea lol

Ok. Responding to the response to my post about Tink irt AJ early in the game.

 

It was said that the feel of the post was similar to what else was going on. I disagree. The tone of the posts caught my attention, and that's why I brought it up.

 

I can chalk it up to them knowing each other, as they clearly do, but there was a tone difference.

 

I liked bop's reason for reading me. I can't give him townie points for it by itself because I'm always wary of town reads of me because scum can easily do that to pocket me, but the fact that others have commented positively on his response is a good sign. Slight Nice read for bop

 

 

Sooh not wanting to give a read on shad is sketching me out. She was very open about being able to read him easily last game by how he read her. Why has that changed?

 

 

Still feeling good about shad and adding aj to that list. Nothing concrete for those reads, just feel good tone wise.

Excuse me? I said I read him based on his read on me. As far as I'm aware he hasn't really said anything about me so far this game.

 

Like, the entire basis of me scum reading him last game was him hinging on a read on us. I can't believe you've forgotten that already.

Could have sworn he did give a read on you. That's why it caught my attention.

 

If he did I missed it. Recently he said my posting last night was "a good look", so that's about as firm as I've seen him get on me so far this game.

Darthe - Being weird. #889 - Why is this a good post? I’m not sure what the point of this post was. I really don’t think it was like massively insightful into the alignment of Shad and it seems strange that of all Shad’s post, that one in particular stood out to him.

#914 - Not sure how characteristically Darthe this is. Seems like he’s making some overly obvious reads and going out of his way to state how some very ordinary posts are good and others are bad. 

 

Shad - Leaning town. It's the tone more than anything else. I haven't really seen him as aggressive as this early on D1 but imo he's got the tendency to overthink things and I can't be sure if he's got a scum read on DPR or if his frustration is more with finding out exactly how DPR thinks. I can chalk up his aggression to more that more than him entering the game as scum and overcompensating. Don't think the interaction with Eldrick is meaningful.

Blue what do you mean by "overly obvious" reads and what's the connection with #914 specifically here?

 

Last bit, I don't have a scum read on anyone at the moment.

 

 

@Blue, someone made a blood thirsty post so he's ready to call them a wolf. There's just something about his posts that seem off. Usually when I've played with Darthe he'll say something along the lines of "This person is scum. I don't know why anyone would see otherwise." and usually there's plenty of reasons imo to disagree with him. NB's post is too easy to comment as scummy and it just seems unlike Darthe in that regard. 

He's following the same trend of just making statements without giving reasons, but usually his posts have this sound like he thinks he's already figured out the game and I haven't seen it here yet and I wouldn't be surprised if that's because he's a wolf and isn't really trying.
