It's more than that but I think that encapsulates Nyn's town game super well :D

 

It's her exasperation with Darthe and in her growing discomfort

 

Her questions are salient and HER READS HAVE REAL DEPTH

 

Monte chart probably applies here

God what drives me nuts is Sooh and Liz sort of jabbing all day and focusing mostly on eachother felt like some really awkward wolf busjob and it's coloring my read on liz

csarmi i don't have a lot of comparative material

 

i can't remember a wolfgame of him since that one game nyn hosted (spaceballs i think?) and he tends to develop as a player one way or another

 

let me dig up some old bones i guess

he's not as bad a wolf as he purports - read through warcraft and the spaceballs game - he can stay active and keep up with the thread and make live reads. he's functional.

 

what's missing from this game so far with him is the drive and the clenching jaws that define his villager game. 

 

he's acting like he cares, but he doesn't.

Review csarmi's game and tell me if the word "passionate" strikes you at all.

 

That's the best word I can use to describe his villager game: right or wrong, he's passionate.

 

Nothing about his performance this game seems passionate.

Sooh as a villager:

 

> typically responds shortly and curtly

> is independently thinking of the thread and making observations

> generally light and playful

> has large spurts of interest

> is generally willing to work with people

> tends to react playfully except when really exerted where she generally replies longform

 

Sooh as a wolf:

 

> a bit more wordy even in casual talk, rigid

> focuses mostly on empirical content over subjective thinking

> is not afraid to push or make quick reactions as a wolf

> responds more violently than playfully in tenser 1v1s

 

I see all of B and pretty much none of A

 

You're a better wolf than people give you credit for (reviewed Friends as well, but POTC was more informative) but I just don't believe this is your village game. Even if you are deflated from the Heroes mash or have had some stressful days I don't imagine it would change your approach and the way you view the thread.

 where have you seen sooh responding violently so far this game?

 

And I would characterize most of her comments about me as subjective rather than empirical. What do you mean by that distinction?

The fact that Sooh [doesn't make a single read on Ironeyes alignment besides unvoting him after he claims PR saying she won't vote an un-cc'd PR] is just so goddamn hilarious considering two people are defending her re: her handling of Ironeyes

 

She talks with him briefly or mentions him in 252, 290, 369, 652 - none with any inkling whatsoever as to what she thinks of Iron's alignment

 

Until one hour from EoD she says she's suspect of how Darthe is fighting Iron's lynch (862) to this:

To even use the word "progression" is meaningless to me

How is that retracting? When I did that vote change I thought they were scum together, and when Ironeyes claimed I didn't want to risk a PR on it, but I still thought Darthe was scum because of his just lack of progression and read on Ironeyes other than just calling him town.

Well in that case HE DIDNT EXPLAIN HIMSELF VERY WELL, DID HE? 

 

At the end of the day you were still unsure if you believed Ironeyes' claim iirc, so I don't know why you weren't pushing Darthe to explain his read since he hadn't made any stances basically all game up until then.

Okay. I'm not sure that I'm seeing what you're seeing, but I have her in my scum pile for other reasons.

 

Mainly, i feel like she's mainly been posting shade rather than direct pushes/explorations, with the exception of EOD when she started pushing the Darthe/Ironeyes connection.

 

I know she said that she thought it was the same difference voting Darthe rather than Ironeyes, but I still find it weird that Darthe's push to have her vote Ironeyes wouldn't make her question whether they were teamed and make her want to keep her vote on Darthe in the first place.

 

But meh, I don't understand why Ironeyes put Darthe in danger by unvoting him at the end of day as well.

 

I get what you're saying about Pral, but I don't know him. And I'd like to see @Hallia and him post more.

 

Kat...I was hoping for more from her today. I liked her tone, but I'm not impressed with the content. 

 

Csarmi - I don't like that he hasn't seemed very involved today at all.

 

I'm going to bed soon and I'll try to get up early enough to post before work. I'm coming home for lunch tomorrow so I should be around at end of day.

 

Basically I'm not willing to lynch you, Nyn, or BFG. Anyone else is still on the table.

I'd like to see Hallia eventually as well, hopefully she can get on soon enough

 

If you're a villager sorry for hassling you all game, I just couldn't get on the same page with you I guess and you've been a little more in the background then I'm used to
