I'm saying it for my own sanity. I just need the record to state how ridiculous I found it and if you lynch me then come back and look at that post and don't just /shrug.

you do realize you're suspecting the only person that has been cleared by the cop, right?

And that nothing I've done is remotely scummy?

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that in the context of everything that happens you're letting your judgement be swayed by really nothing in particular because you've overthought something as colourless as a joke post.

it's called being pinged by something, tiink. I don't make the decision to feel weird about something.

Lol, well stop going of "pinging" and "gut feeling" and just use some logic.

If I was simply making a joke then does that joke seem unreasonable? Yes.

Is the natural progression after making that joke for Besie to come in and say "I will dip my entrails in barbecue sauce and feed them to the park pigeons" followed by me saying "Yes, that is what I asked. Vote WiFi?" No.

Say hypothetically you think that it is. Then would I then think that would be accepted by everyone? No.

Say that was my plan all along. Is it likely that I thought that it would be enough to validate me swapping to WiFi? Also likely no.

Given these conclusions, how plausible is it that the simplest explanation which is that it was just a normal joke is true? Quite high.

Why am I overreacting? You used that to scum read me and I'm trying to get to the bottom of why which you can't seem to explain other than "pings" which imo isn't a valid reason at this stage in the game.

There's some explanation and there's context around those pages. If you don't like the timing of when I voted and when I reasoned then, again, I signed up to this game to get it started knowing full well I was going to be busy so I played around that. Darthe's post #1233 reads true here. If people want to criticize the fact that I use some of my free time to just post about unrelated things rather than dedicating that time to work for this game then that's fine but I'm not going to feel bad about that kind of thing.

It's not the answer you want but it's the truth and it's what I've got right now.

Well, like Zander says in that page that explanation and context came after you voted him. Yeah, Darthe was clearly wrong about Zander and that doesn't clarify anything imo. Before you voted Zander, you were pretty much town reading him and there was never a single post where you suspected Zander. Which is what my point is.

The issue I have is not that you were posting less or something (you clearly have more posts than me), but that there was no progression in your reads and your narrative now is completely opposite to what you actually did.

Like this where you started talking about Calder, which was never the point to begin with.

12. Calder - #190. I think this is a scummy post. Agreeing with someone + giving some general information about how town plays is non-contributory and I’ve seen scum do this 1000 times. This is the biggest tell imo.

If I had to call a scum team now it'd be Calder, Dice and Nego.

That's not fair, I gave my reasons here and I also voted him before he had any heat. This was a vote based on my reads and it was justified. I'm also pretty sure I said I felt better about him afterwards and had no participation on his train.

Or talking about how others were posting.

There had been 200+ posts between those statements.
