I definitely wasn't ideal, and I normally wouldn't have claimed so soon, but I'm glad I did because I'm not playing my best and I'm sure wolves would have taken advantage of it.

It's not whether or not I "I like it".  I don't even know what "it" refers to here.

 

You say you wouldn't vote a teammate to put them in the lead.  From what I can tell, that didn't happen.  You said Mafia!Seph had better options than voting BFG there.  Not according to the vote count, unless you feel you could have started a wagon on somebody that wasn't being lynched and get enough votes on that person - or convince Cory/Regy/Siren to move.

 

 

I don't understand.  You make claims.  People (read: me, really) show why they don't believe you.  Then you complain that nobody believes you, but you don't do anything about it.  If you're telling the truth, I'm giving you an opportunity to tell your side/explain where you were coming from.

I would normally agree, but there were at least three people I thought were town who were still scum reading either Regy or myself, so they hadn't caught on. With the whirlwind that was Day 1, we thought it'd be better to reveal just so at least the two of us would be off everyone's lists and we wouldn't need resolving.

It's like reading me as mafia because we disagreed on a lot of things, when we actually had a LOT of overlap in our reads, and yet you seem completely unwilling to re-evaluate me.  

 

Either you're mafia and you know you can't afford to back off of me (which is going to end bad for you), or you're town and you're more concerned with catching me as scum than actually figuring out my alignment (which is going to end really, really bad for you).

Let's assume for the moment that you're town.

 

Put yourself in mafia you's shoes last night. BFG has the most votes at 3. There aren't a lot of other viable targets. BFG asks you to bus her for now while she tries to defend herself, so that if she fails you look good.

 

You don't want to bus. What specifically do you do in this situation instead?

Neither one of these gives me any assurance that Mafia!Seph has some better plan than bussing there.  I mean, you can say that, and maybe it's true.  Maybe it's not.  But I'm about as anti-bus as it gets, and on a day phase where I drove the mislynch, I took the guaranteed mislynch off the table and forced a tie with a teammate I hadn't been scumreading just to set up an easier end game.  

 

That's not to say you would do the same thing.  We're very different players.  But like Regy hinted at... "I wouldn't do X" is very rarely true, and even when it is, nobody but the person saying it can ever truly know that.

thats kinda difficult to say, because the entirety of my gameplay would have been different. but in the exact situation the easiest way without trying to draw suspicion to myself would be to try to clear up any confusion people had with her slot. not necessarily move the wagon myself but at least get try to get people to the point of thinking to move off.

 

at eod for the most part I sat there because I thought bfg was going to be the lynch 100% when it moved over to zalanna I wasn't that upset because they were still in my bottom 4 at the time.

I don't know if Regy is a better/smarter version of me, or I'm a better/smarter version of him, but it's both wonderful and terrifying to watch him play.
