I have a huge meeting for a hospital project early tomorrow so I tried to go to bed early but here I am at midnight, dying second by second for this stupid game I don't even enjoy playing anymore because my brain is so competitive it won't just let me quit

Greetings friends I took a break from the thread to wash some dishes (and good thing too because I missed the rest of that argument that I probably wouldn't have been able to keep out of and possibly made worse) and think and I came up with something else

 

To anyone who thinks Cory could be mafia, consider this and give a cogent explanation if you would:

 

Why, if Cory is mafia and BFG is town, would Cory be the first to pull off her and say to give her a chance? BFG was eminently lynchable until Cory switched to Zalanna. A town BFG day 1 lynch would've been way more valuable to the mafia AND wouldn't have put Cory under any more suspicion than he's under already. The longer town BFG lives the greater opportunity she has to clear herself and become someone the mafia has to kill.

 

This isn't an argument that BFG is scum (those are separate) but I think it's a pretty good one that Cory isn't. If he's town he doesn't know BFG's alignment and had every reason to have doubts once she defended herself. His reasoning makes sense from that perspective. It doesn't make sense as scum unless he was sure I was suddenly going to change my mind which would have been impressive because I wasn't even sure what I was going to do.

 

As for the possibility that they're w/w - if so they've played a very strange game as I think both of them could have easily gotten away without making the other their only (in BFG's case) or one of their few (in Cory's case) primary targets. Especially since the end result of their antagonism is that it's very likely at least one of them is going to get resolved soon. So I don't think that's likely.

 

I think Cory is town, I don't think this could come from him as mafia. If I'm wrong he's thoroughly fooled me but at this point it's going to take some kind of incredible smoking gun to get me to change my mind on him. This is the wrong avenue to explore.

Course' I'm tunneling Cory, but I ain't  blind. I considered why he would switch off bfg myself; I concluded that he thought Zlanna was a bigger threat and the drawback to leading a town cfd was not apparent at the time.

 

There is also the matter that bfg and he are competent players. They can bus each other without lynching each other so long as they have a sufficiently vague poe by eod each day, as shown today.

Well my objective right now is to resolve him. Doesn't mean I'm not thinking about other players. =/

 

Though it's true I don't have any serious scum leads besides cory atm.

There's a strong case for why he is a wolf this game. Most of his content is AtE and many of his votes pushes decisions and reads are convenient for a wolf to have or make.

 

I can give him time if I focus on someone else, but I want to make it clear how strongly I feel first, and if anyone has strong objections to my logic they can say as much now before dawn.

There is no case for why I am a wolf this game. I have been killing myself trying to figure this game out which is something that is all my villager game and never my wolf game.

Okay...now that I have more time, though I am still not fully read through (i've had a lot of interruptions today):

 

1. Sili Quirrels: town - he's not as aggressive as he was the last time we played together and he was mafia then.  Also he has been itt more than in the other game, answering questions and making statements. - He's not as aggressive?  Are you reading this thing?  I will give you the being itt more.

 

2. Wildfire Sedai (PrincessBFlea): town - tis me, I know I'm town. But the rest of us do not.

 

3. Zalanna: town - hasn't been posting crazy amounts in thread (z) , they both have been answering questions afaict from what i have read so far  Except for the second half of D1, where they both pretty much vanished.

 

4. Andrej: town - has been asking questions and answering them when asked I would agree here, I likey da AJ

 

5. Hallia: town/mafia as I was going to give a reason for her being town, it occured to me that she might just be on the edge of being mafia....low post count and not that much investigating going on. I beat this dead horse

 

6. Katiora: town/mafia - Kat was mafia in the last 2 games I was in with her, only 2 games to be exact.  She has posted more here than she did then atp in game.  However she "always" seems to get into a "ruckus" with someone during the game play, coincidence?? I'm assuming when you say town/mafia you mean you're unsure - I know one of the games, what was the second game where she was mafia?  Because I think you might be confused.  Or I'm going crazy.  Amount of posting isn't indicative for Kat; what does her getting into a "ruckus" have to do with anything?

 

7. Cory: town/mafia - town because he takes the time to quote things and give explanations, mafia because of all the "ruckus" that was happening around him. The heck does the ruckus around him make him mafia for?  I would like this expanded on.  I think she doesn't know Cory well enough.

 

8. Clovdyx : mafia - am going to wait till after supper to do this one cause I can't remember off the top of my head why.  Waiting on this, it's bollocks

 

9. BFG: mafia -  am going to wait till after supper to do this one cause I can't remember off the top of my head why. - I would like her reasoning

 

10. Darthe: town/mafia - town because he is proactive in responding to posts about his alignment and asking/answering questions. Mafia because of low posts...when I was in HIS game he thanked me for being active but he's not active here...it just doesn't add up The reasoning behind this one makes me go "huh?"  because you aren't inactive, and I don't think you had been for a while, when I think she said she was up to like page 50.  You had been in game.  She just said you were proactive in responding to posts.   How can you be both?

 

11. Regy Rusty: town - asked/ answered questions in a good manner  The mason thing had already happened; could have been given that info in QT, the coinciding of this read with below makes me skeptical.  Though like I said, I didn't catch it either, I find it odd.  Same for Sirren below.

 

12. Sirren: town - Kept her cool when she felt hurt and continued playing the game.  Asks good questions and answers them.

 

13. Seph: town/mafia - I know I originally had him as town but then been thinking on it and he hasn't posted that much so thinking might be mafia "Lurking?" Just a thought....other than that though town for questions/answers.  I don't see how anyone thinks Seph is mafia, but that's just me.

Okay, as long as we've established that fact.

 

But mostly I disagree with the premise because I haven't been pushing cory all day. Of, sure I asked questions and expressed skepticism but these are healthy facets of play. In retrospect most of my day was spent clarifying issues between other players and defending some I felt strongly about and processing reads.
