I said you were probably my best bet.  That doesn't mean I think you're mafia.  All it means is I think you're more likely than most other people.  And I feel like I made it very clear that I didn't understand your argument with Seph, and you refusing to explain anything doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

You don't understand why it matters to me that you seem like you're lying?

I already explained it though.

I can restate it if you wish.

I will assume you wish it.

I was suspicious of Seph for other reasons. I wanted to interrogate him. I felt like his reads were reads he would make as a wolf too.

Then I changed my mind. Decided to vote Wish instead. Dropped Seph.

I have nothing to cover up. Why would I lie except to style? You think I think I'm good enough at wolfing to style people?

Would be funny though.

I said you thought you might be kicking dirt on him.  That pretty much implies you're deliberately trying to make him look scummy when he doesn't.  Unless I think you're doing that as town for the fun of it (spoiler: I don't), that should give SOME idea of my take on your alignment at this point.

You said, I felt better about 'him' in a sentence where the only subject was me. And idk. It didn't seem like you had established such a strong wolf read of me to busy yourself with post-flip speculation.

Okay, I went back to check this.   First, you voted Wish before you even addressed Seph.  Second, you stated yesterday that you didn't even know his scum game.

Cause I don't know his wolf game I don't know what is necessary for wolf Seph to do.

You can't have it both ways.  Either you feel those were reads that he would do as mafia, or you don't know his approach as mafia.

Third, you haven't done anything else to explain why you changed you rmind.

You're right - I did.  It was at the end of a paragraph where I was explaining why I feel good about Seph.  Beyond that, you can't possibly have thought I was saying "Sili is kicking dirt on Seph to see if anything sticks, which makes Sili good."

I don't need a strong read on you for association.  I think your case was garbage and was more likely meant to make him look bad than be a genuine argument against him.  That's not typically done to somebody who is town.  I'll give you that you would have no way of knowing Seph's alignment as town but I'm willing to play the odds.

In case you cant remember, last game was not particularly good game for me on a multitude of levels. Check any of the other games and I can guarantee you, this will appear in the ones where I am not present for the start of D1 or long spans of time. Its how I catch up.

My objection here is small, but I think I'm going to be asked about it anyway so I'll explain in advance my impression.  I feel like he is giving too much breath to the dialogue for a villager who thinks I am a wolf. And the last bold reads almost like he is trying to excuse himself.

Again, a small thing. There is lot's of variance in such tonal reads.

It was page 3, so how can you expect anything to have been a strong case at that point in the game?

Plus without being prompted, I left him alone. Personally I don't see the issue or why anyone would consider it 'throwing dirt' unless they (a) had a hidden agenda or (b) had some other reason to think I was a wolf.

I know people I think is the rub. I learn about people, I get a feel for them, and I extrapolate their ranges and general tendencies. Sometimes I'm wrong, sometimes right. Nevertheless it's how I operate. I believe Seph knows he reads us as town as a wolf, so he reads us as a wolf there too - it's quite straightforward in this case.

Can hardly call it an argument for why Seph is a wolf though. I was just about to fos him and then I thought a little more about stuff.

Seph's attitude started to remind me of last game more I thought about it. I had doubts and thought Wish's focus on her Q&A was wolfier. Though Wish's response to my vote was good.

I have a very slight, and kind of pedantic, issue with your argument, but I want to see how he responds to this so I'll hold off for a bit.

Red - I didn't get this impression when I read it, but I at least can see where you're coming from.

Probably not.  I work split doubles on Sunday's so I really want to sleep.  But let's be honest - I'll probably be up again in two hours.

Bold - I have no idea what you're trying to say here.

As for the rest, that makes sense in a vacuum, but that quick flip for tone doesn't make much sense if you had much confidence in him being mafia to begin with.  You claim you didn't.  That all ties together, but then you really had no reason to even bring it up.

I don't really see how Lenlo can respond to such vague tone reads other than - this makes me a villager, or this makes me a wolf.

Personally I want him to respond to my blue comment.

What makes you think I had confidence in Seph being mafia? I had the most confidence in him being mafia, but again, 'page 3'. And by the way it wasn't a quick 120. I just gave the read some breathing room.

As for why I made the comment, I was about to go all in on him like I sometimes do when I find a bone to gnaw on.

Hm.

Thinking back, I didn't want to go ham. I wanted to apply a little pressure and see how he reacted, and push him from there or let him go. Anyway, chewing nuts helps me understand their flavor.
