Seph, what did you see at this point that made you particularly comfortable with her?  I might go ever so slightly more likely to be town than rand, but I think saying she's LIKELY town might be a bit of a stretch.

What the hell is this?  I don't get what you were getting at with the necessary reads comment, unless you were saying that he made them because he's mafia.  You said that's not what you were saying, so I have absolutely no clue what you were getting at.

 

Also the closed look is bad, especially for you.  

 

 

Pg 1-3 = Intro lols. Sili gets on Wish for her Q&A (#58). Dont see the problem. 

 

Pg 4 = Seph made a really weird post (#62). Not wolfy just weird. Im not sure if I read it correctly. I dont get why Sili is saying he and Hallia are easy and necessary reads (#68). Really not sure what thats supposed to mean but it bugs me.

 

Pg 5 = Its way to early for town reads imo. Theres been nothing but jokey intro posts that arnt indicative of anything meaningful. No u (#94). Yo (#99)

 

Pg 6 = Sili abandons an argument I didnt even know was an argument (#102). What? Where is this coming from? Why Laine? Is this last game?! (#106). Seems to me that this page is just people tip toeing around a bush while talking about another bush. Nothing here really... matters.

 

Pg 7-8 = I never found him (#135). :( (#143). Really? I dont think ive seen him D1 mislynched before so I dont know where this acertain is coming from. Though ill agree its dif from last game. Ill have to see how much dif as the game goes (#151). 

 

Pg 9 = Zander caught what I did (#161).  BFG give me your reasoning on why if Seph is wolf Laine isnt. Cause that game out of left field and I really am curious (#171). Its all I ever am dude (#180).

 

Pg 10-11 = Jack all. Nothing important cause nothing caught my eye. BFG that reasoning just doesnt stick with me. Its way to small to make that big a claim. No dice (#215). 

 

Pg 12 = If by action you mean jumping at shadows and debating he said she said sure (#229). 

 

Pg 13-15 = Not much. TELL ME WHERE YOU KNOW ME FROM STORK. I MUST KNOW THE STORY (#270). 

 

One thing that bugs me is just Hallia is very... feisty? I dunno its different from what I expect from both alignments for her so im not really using it to judge her just yet. Its just... different.

What issue do you have with early town reads?  I would argue you can learn a lot by people's comfort in the thread early on and who they interact with.  Beyond that, do you think it matters at all for their alignments?  

 

You can argue the TMI angle, but that would be one hell of a claim.

 

What do you typically expect from Hallia?  I don't think she's been particularly feisty at all so far, and I really don't know that I think she's significantly different than what I'd have expected.  A decent amount of posts when she was active, some ideas, a lot of light heartedness.

Thanks for the vote, Sili, it makes me feel appreciated and noticed.

What's the problem with the questionnaire? I posted it to generate content, because I wasn't getting anything from the videos people were posting. Maybe I was supposed to, but nah, sorry, can't parse.

Lenlo, who just posted, says it's too early to have town reads, but I like his very early engagement in the thread and will award him my first town read of the day.

Rest of my reads are more tonal and based off of jokey interactions, so I will be slow to trust them, but I think that Sili and Seph are both town from their little spat, which I'm not entirely sure what that was about. I think that Seph's opening was bad, but as he kept fighting with Sili, there was genuine frustration fmpov, and I think that's hard to fake as scum. Sili also placing a vote early to generate reactions is something that I personally like to do, and I am starting to get a sense that he is a player similar to Roman, who relies on gut reads. Atm his play reminds me of Roman's town play, which is why he's slight town in my book.

Not much else for now.

 

Where are you seeing this?  He made one significant post, and it didn't ENGAGE anybody.  It didn't even give conclusions.  It wasn't until he was asked for reads that he actually offered anything up.

BFG linking ??? I don't remember who and Lainey, who hasn't posted, is still weird for me. Whoever pointed that out gets a cookie. Her explanation of the person ??? talking about Lainey in a way that was never w/w feels contrived.

 

 

If BFG had actually linked anybody to her (it was Seph, btw), I would say you might be right.  But that's not what she was doing.  If anything, she was doing the exact opposite.

 

 

Chris, what did you mean when you said that dice is a very from the hip player? The phrase stuck out to me, I'd also like to hear dice's own thoughts on this.

 

 

It means he throws things out there, often without a whole lot of justification, and he typically doesn't care what people think of it.  There's a relatively infamous post Cory made before about Dice's town meta where he just comes out swinging and Dice kind of disappears into the background as mafia.  For where the game was, I would think a genuine read from Dice of Zander wouldn't have had what I thought was some pretty garbage explanation with it - it just would have been.

 

 

 

 

I'll be honest here. I may have to drop out due to the sheer volume of posting. I don't want to, so I'm going to try to hang in and see what happens. For now, I don't really have any strong reads, but I'm liking BFG a bit.

Seph is the person I feel best about at this point.  It's definitely not an incredibly strong read, but solid.  I like how he came out swinging against Sili, especially consideirng Sili's argument made no sense, and I don't feel he was stumbling over himself trying to answer questions about it.  I kinda think Sili was kicking dirt on him to see if it would stick, which is a good look for him too.

 

I really don't understand why anybody has an issue with BFG's argument about Seph/Alanna.  I said before I would guess she's probably right, and I would stand by that even if I didn't feel particularly good about Seph.  I can't rule out the possibility Mafia!Seph wrote it with the deliberate intention of townspewing a teammate, but I would be very, very surprised if that's the case.  More importantly, I think that's a pro-town observation for her to make.  The only way that thought comes from a mafia motivation is if all three of them are mafia together and she's looking for something to clear one of Alanna/Seph in case the other one dies, since Mafia!BFG would essentially be forced to clear town!Alanna if Seph is a teammate and clear Seph as town should Alanna flip mafia.

I didn't bold stuff I didn't know about. It seems to me like Lenlo is focusing on stuff that is weird but not necessarily wolfy on purpose. At other times it's just a tmi statement like 'jumping at shadows' even though he himself is doing just that I believe - i.e. Hallia is very... feisty?
