Thane is a guess but a likely one. He got investigated the previous day as town. So i went to recruit but failed. I think me and Len both went after Thane and he got him.

A:  Yes.  It is not considered appropriate to change someone's alignment and win condition and not tell them.

Yes. He's asking why Celeste would need to view him if he's already outted. If she was town she'd ACTUALLY view a villager and clear them while saying she viewed Calder then back out of it once he confirmed his alignment. She basically outted herself as being on the other team by peeking Calder.
