Ugh, I'm sorry, pizza. I've been low effort today because of real life stuff. Horrid excuse, but it is what it is.

I would have done an ISO of Celeste to show you my work, but I just read the posts and did what I could.

I have a problem with Pralaya not showing up today and with Nolder's deflection and hedging on really giving a solid Shad argument. I also have a problem with Cass's early game attitude and the difference that seems apparent to me now, even if she says it's marked by the same paranoia.

Penny just linked the chair game from a while back, where she hit Nolder with a chair for being scummy.

Can you tell me what similarities you see in Nolder's game given the last game you linked?

One similarity I see in those two games is a defeated attitude, actually. That does not bode well.

 

I remember him rage quitting in the Mafia QT (I was mod).

 

Another thing that I noticed was the thing that Pizza pointed out - acting in a way that confused/disoriented town and caused them to doubt each other (until Celeste hit him with a chair and stole his vote).

 

Up until that point, he was also consistently chasing after Celeste. I believe that's null, though.

Penny, you're putting in the work that makes me confident in you. You said you wouldn't give up, right? Pizza, you don't have to be consensus leader. Just make sure to keep your village close. Lainey, you might be able to village lead instead of Pizza. Shad, vote someone without caring about what others think or worrying about people needing to sheep you.

What i'm trying to say is at this point with us all burnt out from D2 that the wolfs will be able to assure a mislynch if we all don't come together for the sake of town unity. Basically a pep talk similar to wish. We need to agree on someone which I know we can do, the stronger the unity the harder it will be for the mafia to mislynch a townie.

I dunno, I beat the crap out of myself in these games sometimes, and I can safely say I've invested more time into this one than any I've played before.  I thought I caught on to something with Cass.  But absolutely no one took it to be particularly telling, so meh.  It's not like Zander here, or AJ in NBC, or Lenlo in Matrix, where I reached a point at which I could see ulterior motives spewing out of every post they made.  It's one issue.  I think it's a big issue.  No one else does, and I have the bias of being the guy who found it, so there's a very good chance I'm wrong.

 

No one is being overtly scummy except Nolder.  I feel as though I'm seeing his town scumminess, not his scum scumminess.  So where do we go?  Lynch Pral for being the least involved?  When is Pral ever not the least involved?  I have no idea what to look for with him.

 

Just in the process of responding to this post I probably read 200 posts.  I'm driving myself nuts.

This set is quite interesting. I would believe a scum, if not two, is definitely in this set.

4 scum against a cop doc and vig seems way way way more stacked for scum than I'm used to on DM, but I have failed miserably at predicting set-ups in the past. Why are we all convinced there are 4 scum again?

It is definitely not 4 scum with 13 players. That would be overpowered. We were thinking of 4 scum? I was assuming that there is one scum and one third party left

How about this.

 

Cass has played one hell of a game if scum.  Give her the benefit of the doubt, but question her further later.

 

I don't really think Nolder or Celeste are scum.  I'm about as confident as I'm going to get in those reads and they're town leans at best, but I don't think they're scum.  Wish certainly doesn't look like scum on the surface.  She's the one player I haven't really put enough work into yet, but I would not consider lynching her until I do and unless it turns up some problems.    Laine is completely on her town game and I've seen none of the little things I've outer her as scum for in the past beyond the earliest stages of this game.  Pizza is an outed PR.  [v]Pralaya[/v] has the least going for him, even if the small things that have bothered me are very trivial.

I dunno.  I don't know how he views scumming.  His response to me suggesting he concede if scum felt genuine.  But some players are willing to give up as scum sooner than others.
