Notes from early game: Cass super excited. Seems weird compared to her current attitude. Penny seems more subdued, more calm, not in a hurry.

In what type of way?

Also

1) Changed my mind on this.

2) You tell me if you think there's a difference between like page 3 and page 100.

3) I don't like that he was reading Celeste in relation to Wish. It would be like townreading you based on how Cass acts. Think about it.

4) I don't have a problem with this per sey but I did ask if he ever explained why because I hadn't asked earlier.

5) I re asked my questions twice. I think he was screwing with me so I stopped wasting my time.

1. I'm okay with this.

2. Not much, but I was liking Csarmi's catchup at that point too, does that make me scum that I wasn't even positive about Csarmi being mafia until Pizza pushed it and he flipped? Well... no. Probably not.

3. Celeste/Wish. Alanna/Zander. Zander and I always town read each other to 100%. It works when we're the same alignment. Town/Town, Wolf/Wolf. We can do that. Are you saying that there's no merit in using those types of interactions to judge the alignment of someone? I noticed something was off with Zander. Shad noticed our interactions were off. Would he be doing that if he were wolf with Zander and Zander was trying to pocket me/make everything seem normal?

--> Another example: do you try to read Verbal/Leelou based on their interactions with each other? (the answer is yes lol)

--> Another, RL example: I have a best friend. Would you trust ME to read my BFF better or Bob off the street to read my BFF?

So, I really don't see any problem with this at all.

4. Meh.

5. I think Shad was being reasonable. From what I read, he was asking questions back to get a better understanding of what you wanted to know. Miscommunication problem, imo

2) Well I thought it was weird and I'm sticking to it. Part of the case I never made yet was that, if you'll take the time to ISO Shad (lol) you'll see he talks about explaining his vote on Csarmi and never does. He says he explained it several times in the first 4 pages of his ISO but he never did.

3) No no see you're getting it wrong. You read Xander, he reads you. That's fine. It's when someone else looks at Xander and concludes you are town. A third party who's not privy to that uhhh connection you have. Keep in mind he made this read fairly early. Also keep in mind at the time wish/celeste being w/w was still a possibility imo.

5) That's really annoying...like seriously I did rephrase it for him twice how many times am I expected to do it before I'm not the bad guy?

FFS Nolder. My stress levels. Rising.

I literally can't even right now

Well, you don't have to forgive me.

All I can tell you is the truth here though.

I thought I made this post and I guess I deleted it instead.

Interesting pizza/Cass interaction. He calls her out on acting on a manic high (#124).

Says she's being ultra paranoid and picking at nothing. I believe this may refer to her picking at phrasing, tone, and turns of speech.

I don't think you read my full note on that.

CAN and DO you read two other players based on how you perceive them to treat each other as same/different alignment?

I also do see your point in that it could be a front and w/w. I would concede that point if Wish wasn't playing a very town game, imo. And being that I KNOW that she reads Celeste well due to experience as hydra and outside of mafia, then I can trust her read of Celeste, is that not correct? I think this is what makes it easy, at least for me.

Now, if Wish is scum, I'm going to feel like an idiot because Wish probably pocketing Celeste; or if Wish was playing a poor game, I probably wouldn't trust her read. But that's not the case here, afaict.

Cass also talks about maybe being T-T with Laine and tinfoiling to misreads. Doesn't want to vote to lynch Laine yet, but promises to hunt her down if wolf. This post (#181) doesn't sound like Cass really believes that Laine is a wolf.

Celeste shows up soon after, comments on me town reading her and giving her town tells. Denies that she always reads me as scum when she's town (it was a light hearted joke from me). Looks pretty good because if she acknowledged it and admitted that she was wary of me, it would be an easy way to get me to town read her.

Celeste asks Pizza (I think it's him, #186) why he's hesitating to vote her. Brings up the random vote on Cass as a reason, or something else. This is an interesting post, indicating that Celeste is self aware of what her post looks like to others, and is reaction testing with her vote. This seems null to me. I'll check out pizza's response.

Because I'm surprised that Pizza didn't stop Zander in his tracks from focusing on my inconsistencies, though Pizza warned Cass off early on not to focus on inconsistencies in other players.

#177: what aspect of the Laine/Zander interaction wasn't normal, Shad?

#187: Cass, why did you joke vote Penny if you don't joke vote? (And why would you joke vote Dice, if that's relevant)

(#4219 was directed at #4217, Lainey)

Yeah I got it. I didn't really notice that and I'm too #lazy to go back and read those sections. You get anything more on that, expand more when you're on a computer?

Give you an example- in any game you play, see how many people who end up being a villager do things that, if you tried, you could frame as being examples of inconsistency.

I doubt you can find even one game where a villager wasn't so inconsistent that you couldn't generate like 5 examples of it.

It's such an unreliable thing to be generic. There's only specific examples of inconsistencies which actually are scummy, and I can't even think of them off the top of my head.
