Abraham GOAT....besides Shane...I miss Shane

Me too man. Everyone thought Shane was a bad guy (ok that one time he went too far) but really he was just ahead of his time in a lot of ways.

 

If you compare the things Shane did with Rick during the Ricktatorship I think most would agree there isn't much difference.

hooking up. I don't think it made much sense but at least there's history there.

Probably a contrived attempt at quickly getting our emotions tied up into caring for these relatively unknown people, so when they die we'll feel sad instead of "meh".

I am actually pretty sure Tara or that black guy or both are going to die soon.

They kind of built up both characters a bit in the last episode and now they're off on some mission so...

I thought maybe they'd meet Neegan but the end of the episode suggests that Rick and Co are about to meet him instead.

I think they are reminding us Carol is human (and not just a bad ass). That's why the love interest and the "mother hen-ing" of Maggie

 

So when they meet up with Neagan, he will kill her and it will hurt us,the viewer, more.
