Both of her votes look relatively "safe" to me, i.e. voting for Cory because of the 4 day head start post (which is an easy target)

 

I think most people would argue that I'm pretty much the exact opposite of an easy target

 

 

@Taborline, I'd like to know who the her in question you're talking about it. Because I get what you're saying. Cory is easy to vote because you know that he won't be lynched, anytime soon. As long as you can defend yourself and no one gets hurt, vote Cory.

 

 

 

Interesting. Cory hinting at mafia having had the opportunity to talk before the game started, and then Talya immediately suggesting that Sili and I have staged our conversation. That's convenient.

And then Leelou responding "Mhm".

But this only on the basis right now of seeing Leelou as being the scummier of Talya vs. Leelou.

How does Leelou normally play? Reading back I see a lot of off-topic joking posts, helpful posts/answering questions, the vote for Cory, the back and forth with Tal and then the switch to voting for Tal.

Both of her votes look relatively "safe" to me, i.e. voting for Cory because of the 4 day head start post (which is an easy target), and voting for Talya because Talya was pressing her. From the interaction, as I said earlier, I find Tal to actually be leaning more towards town, which makes me read Leelou as being slightly scummier. Then your bringing up that bit against Talya and her agreeing with you could be a scum on scum interaction, trying to frame Tal.

Not a heck of a lot to go on, as you can see, but I don't have a clear town on you from anywhere, which is why I'd like to hear Cory's thought process.

Hmmm...was the she about Leelou? Taborline, what do you think about Leelou? Irc, Cory said that he gave her a null-town read.

You know probably more than anyone how hesitant I am as a villager to accuse anyone of being a wolf D1. I am never confident in my reads this early on. I nudged you to get a better read of your slot, and I got several things to think about. And yes, you're right. If I do think you are a wolf later on I will have to make a much stronger case against you. Both because this isn't a case, and because you're a much better wolf than to let yourself be caught by one little nudge like this.

These are the slots that are the biggest problem for me in sense of "how do I resolve", so feel free to pay attention to them two   

I remembered Tab made two posts that were biggish irt to me and you/Lenlo but I don't remember feeling great about them

Anyway, remnants of the post I tried to put together: Sili, you go from having me and wishleste at equal chances of being scum to giving me a slight edge. As I haven't been around today, why? Wish hasn't posted either, and Celeste made two low-content posts. On that note, there's Mish's read of Celeste appearing "on", which is the opposite of yours, from what I understand, having called her incoherent. Yet you haven't responded to that, from what I see. Is she above your challenging her?

Good point, imo. Maybe I'm just digging up old stuff, but I felt like I needed to do an ISO of the people that Cory read. I'd like to look at the people and their connection to basically the town leader (you gotta admit that's true).

Yeah, this is the point I was trying to make yesterday (or was that today, lol) during my ISO of Mish.

I will defer on Sili to someone who can actually read him well - that'll be Tina or Cory, from what I can tell.

 

CorKey is cautiously town.  Always cautious where Cory is concerned.

 

I'll need to re-read to refresh my memory on others - as I recall, I was feeling pretty positive about Wishleste and Sooh, a little iffy on Leelou and Talya.  Nobody has clearly struck me as a great lynch candidate just yet but I'll put some #work in tomorrow to decide who I'd be happy voting.

She's one of the people I am least confident in keeping in my light green pile and she's a slippery lass and her "trolling me to get a reaction" is definitely a stunt I could see a wolfteam pulling to try and level me (see: Tom in any game where we are w/v) so I'm not confident in just clearing someone because they were willing to go @ me

Very nebulous.  

 

I gave a few quick impressions earlier, but I am being lazy today and waiting to do a full reread until tomorrow.  There are a lot of people I haven't really thought much about yet or nothing has stuck in my mind one way or another.  I work mainly on gut reads and meta D1 because not knowing anyone's alignment I tend to overthink what everything could possibly mean and get mired in paranoia and mixed feelings and am completely useless.  

 

My gut reads are pretty decent though, especially where certain people are concerned.  *winks at Dice*

 

 

What about now? This post is mostly content-less except for a bit of Dice buddying.

All in all I dont feel to bad about Tab. Im not ruling her out, but for D1 so far I feel comfortable looking else where for scum/Loki. 

 

For an update on my vote: I still cant get over the Eld thing. Nothing hes said so far has made me go "Oh yeah, theres someone better to be voting today." and that worries me. I feel like that should have been one of the first things he answered when he came back. So yeah im comfortable where I am.

 

Don't know, but the questions that Lenlou had about Tab regarding her thoughts on Sooh -- I don't know if they were answered. I find the single post I left from Sooh a good point (the part I underlined). At this point, I read Sooh as town.

Apparently he has played with me D1 thrice, not that I recall any specific interaction with him.

 

Anyway, JS, you are nit-picking. It feels like a witch hunt. The thread has no 'substance' therefore why would you expect anyone, even me, to have a lot of 'content'?

Also, I just fired up a game of league, so I might not be present for the next 30min or so. Wasn't expecting Sooh to get back to me that soon. 

 

It just sounds to me like a normal game start here on DM. I have played with Sili multiple times, and apart from that little hint of being antsy in his initial interaction with me I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Like Eldrick says though, it's something I want to keep an eye on. All of this initial stuff becomes more important to me later in the game when analyzing interactions with people.

I actually really dislike that Tina isn't voting me. The fact that she has me so far down on her list is bothering me. I haven't seen her to do anything in regards to discerning my alignment. It's like she just arbitrarily decided I'm scum. I'm not seeing her #solve. I love that she's seen nothing to change her mind, well I haven't had the chance to post anything of substance yet since end of day yesterday. She also failed to answer Key's question directed towards her regarding my calling her out as OMGUS. She's not circling back and following up.

I'd like to hear this too. Leelou is one of the people that fell between the cracks on my read. I can't remember anything she said. Why are you scum reading her? And, if she's a scum read of yours, why aren't you pushing her?

So I dunno why but I feel bad about the Verb train, if only because I think atleast 1 scum was following Cory there to stay on his good side/separate themselves from their team. Pralaya was honestly suspicious to me. His activity was much lower then the other game I saw him in. He also seemed to be saying very little imo. Also a lynch on my top scum read wasn't going to happen so I voted my other scum read.
