I still don't get Dice's push on Durin over the N0 Peek (which was the second post of the game). Dice - What did you think of the AJ/Seph spat, what are your current reads on people? I get the same feeling over this as the AJ push on Seph. But I have seen the last couple of games start with this and the person who gets lynched is town and the person pushing is also town. So I want to step back and look at that better.

 

 

I think Sephs play is legitimately wolfy. I think AJ DOES have a grudge but that that Sephs play is something AJ would jump on. Thing is he would jump on it as either alignment i just dont think he'd be quite so full on about it as a mafia. He doesn't seem worried that it could go all wrong and seph turns out to be the cop or something, making AJ look bad.

Dice fooled me pretty bad in Mass Effect, so what I thought I knew about him and his way of playing is out the window for me. Him tunneling like this is his town game?

 

Depends on how you want to word it. i prefer attacking and not letting go myself but if you wanna say tunnel go ahead.

I find it unlikely that none of the wolves around here (Leelou, Verb, Yates) would, in fact. Add that to Yates calling Leelou and Verb to answer (of all people). This exchange may clear Yates. What do you all think?

tbh i didn't know how many votes were on lee or laine and i didn't care. i went with what i felt was the best choice. there were reasons, and my reasons make sense because it's the truth.  you can continue talking about how vote analysis day 1 makes me look bad, but i never help a town not lynch a villager 20 or so minutes to eod when the gf is the counter wagon.

I think my problem with dice and heart and sooh can best be summed up with I haven't seen them around as much since town has started winning. Mostly it's sooh because in addition to not having the post count, she's lacking in content, but I think it generally applies to all 3.

2.) Activity is not indicative of alignment, only of real life. I had this problem the beginning of last game too

3.) Last night I came home with my head already swimming and when I started reading mafia I could not get anything to make sense whatsoever

4.) I am once again at that point. Unfortunately, a portion of this evening went to trying to figure out what to do with a stray cat my neighbor found. I only work a half day tomorrow afternoon, and I fully intend to catch up the rest of the way in the morning (though I may also be taking the cat somewhere to get it checked for a chip and etc)

5.) I will be much more active this weekend, and then next week I am on "vacation" to volunteer at a Bible camp so I'll be much more relaxed and inactive then too.

6.) When I checked in, I knew I wasn't going to be able to connect dots (was in a similar mental state to the one I'm in now) but I was excited for the game and knew we were still in the silly phase of it anyway. I probably should have just left it as “here, vote Leelou” and not posted anymore, but kind of just automatically said “give more thoughts in ___ hours” because I do have to say that a lot, and then just stuck around for the rest of the time I was kept awake because reading sillies is funny. I know those posts are all you have of me right now, but they are a waste of your focus and I will give you more soon.

7.) On mage 35, and the general vibes I can remember at the moment:

Sili I feel I'll never know what to do with, but something feels... different? Will have to pinpoint later.

Durin I need to look at closer but Darthe is at least engaged in this game to see where the heat is coming from and then what exactly the reaction was and what it implicates

Laine has actually seemed very town to me (AAH Laine now THAT is going to make me suspicious)

Therbal32 (I like this one better) hasn't stuck out to me a whole ton yet

NotBob I shall never trust again (but am liking some of the things he has commented)

Leelou I feel like is tunneling me at this point; has commented on little else besides my lack of activity. I remember her addressing other situations but not actually giving thoughts (one that sticks out in memory is that she said that seph confused her or something to that nature). Striking me as weird.

Sooh not much by her yet. Thought it was gutsy to follow up on something that garnered so much attention early on, which scum usually avoid, and I also know she's the pop in and not always give full thoughts type. Townish for now?

I liked Mawth's first post, though judging from a Zander post I saw on my scroll down, he's not been around much either. Will poke him on fb in the morning

Dice--Playing how I remember dice playing. Was always someone who seemed slightly scummy to me and need to look at closer not to just automatically have that bias

Shad--liking in this game, still getting feet wet. Hard to tell what is growing confidence and what is possibly just a difference.

Seph--I could be totally wrong here, but I feel like his posts have mostly pertained to defending himself and not continuing to help town elsewhere in addition (hunting pointing out other inconsistencies not related to himself, etc)? Will have to look again ISO

WomboCombo--both playing differently than I remember them, but I'm outdated. Both acting very confident town and something feels solid about it but we do also have two good players here.

Csarmi--according to what I have written, he was questioning Sooh on her pop in explaining herself and asked why she didn't add anything constructive, and then I don't really recall a transition but later on on a reads list Sooh is very high. Been a part of a couple of back and firths with people like Yates and Zander I'd just like to look at more closely. Not acting like he considers himself cleared

 

I think that's everyone? Might shift in the morning when I can think a little more clearly.

Hydras are confusing.

Whoever is having a game with all hydras, I'll watch with popcorn. Would be interesting but such a headache.

Leelou is weird - that doesn't mean much, if team mate, use this term instead of actually saying someone is wolf, despite voting her, Other ones she didn't know about Seph and Dice (Seph the first main lynch of day 1) .

Sili is going to be on of those people I’m just wary of for a while. I’ve liked a lot of what he’s SAID in this game, but something feels off. It might just be my annoyance. Slight town read for now

—Ok, so there was the whole view thing at the beginning, and I can see dice’s point of view where it could be a gambit, however I don’t think that is worth lynching over today.

—I’ve liked Darthe’s posting so far in this game; been looking in a lot of places and interacting with a lot of people and trying to encourage the game.

—Turin some analysis and question asking

—The interactions with dice have been getting a lot of attention, and I am going to go back and look at that more later, but for now I’m going with that nothing especially stuck out to me in those interactions

Once again, a fairly town vibe. The main thing here is that I know both of these players are able to trick me into thinking they are town when they are mafia

—a lot of giving thoughts and asking questions, feeling a lot like she did last game to me

—has been doing a lot of observing and asking questions and hasn’t been in the thick of any main issue yet, but I’ve noticed she’s normally more on the fringes

In response to her question about my read on her: I normally find you very scummy, and now I’m finding you very town. That change is worth noting, and as previously stated I’m wary of being tricked. I think you’re town at this point though

—really not much stood out to me, they had dice marked as town as of #758 and asked a few questions

Looking at ISO

—Thane talked about his coffee skills a lot, and did more random commentating than actually analyzing the game with his pop-ins, though this has been gradually improving

—Verbal has done a little more questioning of things

—mostly questions and commentating, hasn’t done much of his own analysis yet which I saw a bit of before, but that will probably come with time

SUM UP

 

A lot of people are leaning town for me right now, but it’s day one and no one has made any major mistakes yet, and we have nothing solid to go on. Day ones are always hard for me for that reason.

 

My strongest town reads are probably Laine, Shad and Yates, and I’m feeling fairly good about Zander and Eldrick as well.

 

The hydras I’m all going to be wary of as I know they are all players who can trick me as mafia. The least inthralled by Therbal. Sili I’m also throwing into the category of “town but definitely not clear”

 

Feeling eh about Talya and Sooh (and Mawth)—sooh is probably my strongest town read out of those three.

 

The people I’ve had a strong dislike to at some point in the game were dice, Leelou and Csarmi.

 

I think that was everyone

 

Leelou has felt better to me, but also has been defending dice a lot. Csarmi has his claim but I would like him to prove his towniness.

 

 

I’m comfortable voting this route right now:

Oh and I think it was Zander who asked me what I was last game where I also started out inactive—I was town and that was largely a part of why I was mislynched.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before. Her vote on Darthe, but forgot to unvote. Not sure how many votes he had on Dice at this point or if it would have made any difference. I did notice she had Leelou, Dice and Cs as her mafia, but was happy to swap her vote from someone she thought wolf to someone else. Doesn't mean much. Unless was getting her vote of her team mate, in plenty of time. Later she would have looked so bad removing her vote so left it there. Still meh!

 

Her after deadline seemed a bit more honest and seemed to think maybe Leelou was town.

 

 

I know I voted her. Judging by how she's acting now, she probably was town. Didn't feel that way to me most of the game, though she was rising in my perspective. Coming back in though, the main reason behind the other train was something which didn't truly have substance (Laine referring to something that I normally do but hadn't done yet).

 

Also, what would have happened if the votes had been tied? Random between the two of them or random between everyone?
