Mafia RC in Clov would make sense if we ever get back to that.  A popular old DM thing was to make the main character in a series a safe claim every once in a while when claims became too alignment indicative.

1. Sili was trying to provide Vig cover for you. I think I'm one of two or people in this game that would do something like that as scum. Sili isn't one of them.

 

2. Clov is trying to lay down Seer cover. Again, I think I'm one of two or people in this game that would do something like that as scum. Clov isn't one of them.

Having two conf Town and a 3rd conf non-mafia this early in the game is a big advantage. Scum will have to take out one of Sili or Clov [and likely leave Dice alive] in order to eliminate conf Town because they can't win an end game with two conf Town still alive.

 

Darthe is mislynch bait. I think they were hoping Sili would be their next mislynch frame up. Amateurs.

 

Gut tells me one of Leelou or Nyn is scum.

 

There's 1 scum on the Lili wagon and it's either Darthe or Barm. Being that I think Darthe is mislynch bait? The math is easy here.

 

I don't think Dice fake claims survivor as scum so I'm inclined to believe his claim.

 

I'm guessing there's a 3 man scum team in a game this size given vig and survivor. So that leaves 1 scum in you, Thane or Eldrick.

 

I can read Thane with high accuracy. I should know by EoD if he is Town or Scum. I'd cop Eldrick, as I said last night. And if I had copped Eldrick last night I'd cop you next as an unknown entity to me.

4. I wasn't sure if you were soft claiming seer or providing seer cover earlier. So I was double-covering to give scum something to think about just in case you were the actual seer. That's why I told MrsClov that the message wasn't actually for her - it was my way of making scum think maybe Yates is the seer or maybe Yates just made it obvious that Clov or Mrs Clov need doc protection. As far as the "third degree" goes? You know what me giving someone the 3rd degree looks like for real. It was worth seeing if anyone was going to jump in and say "yeah! How do we know mafia didn't have a double kill and you are looking for Town points." Take a look at my initial reaction to her claim and see where I have her in all of my reads lists. That's all you need to know about that.

That's fair, "third degree" was an overstatement.  Still, it looked off to me that you would even mention her in what was basically your POE after you declared her to be the equivalent of an Innocent Child earlier.  Didn't look consistent at all.

Weird. I thought you knew what I was doing with that and thought maybe you thought I was trying to soft claim your role. As a side note, that was a further vet on you. If you were fake hinting scum, I would have expected you to back off or go full Yates Town support.
