Ill ask a third question. He would have been fine without the sorcerer claim and doubly so without explaining it. Why would he weaken his position immensely nd open himself up to counter claims a second time if he was a wolf?

So we have no doc and he just happened to guess that and youre so certain that youre willing to lynch him for it?

 

in this stage of the game, i think he's more of a loose cannon than dice. No doc is quite surprising, true. That doesn't change that he messed up. I'd rather lynch a wolf than dice, because dice can also win with town.

 

Thane? What about him pushing the dice lynch? Why would scum want to give the town an extra opportunity to lynch someone else? Its at least clear why dice is on his wagon and the reason isnt that dice is scum hunting. He has a wincon to fulfill.

I suspect he went too much into this arch nemesis thinking. Getting rid of an ally is a bad idea, unless you are convinced you don't need him for victory.

Sili can you talk me through your understanding of Darthe's role hints, from what I've read you seemingly caught Darthe's seer hint because you 'acknowledged' his Leelou vote yet later on said you didn't catch it till 'then'

Darthe had a couple hints that were difficult to keep track of.

 

He at one point said Leelou is outed scum. While earlier, on page 71, I think he says me and eldrick are town.

 

I was very confused, and still am. The seer cover he did on page 71 I didn't notice until Clov pointed it out to me.

1) That assumes he is a wolf or doesn't make sense yet you're pointing at it to call him a wolf.  In the world of logicall fallicies it's called circular reasoning.  You also didn't explain how he messed up or what being a "loose cannon" has to do with his alignment.  This is a nonanswer.

 

2) Ally to who?  It's third party.  He is an ally to whichever way the wind blows.

 

3) What facts did he need to get straight?  He made a doc claim.  Could've left it at that.  It made sense and Yates kept pushing until he revealed more of his role.  That's a bit dumb certainly but it's something I've seen townies do before and it didn't gain him any points.  In actuality it lost him a ton so, as mafia, I can't think of a reason he would do it.  You can't tell me that he caved to Yates pressure, people experienced enough to get into champs games don't do crap like that.  You also didn't answer how that makes more sense.  Occams Razor yo.

Top 2 and bottom 2.

Can you explain not understanding your role in a different way?  Include (generally) how it was explained in your role PM plz.

It seems to make more sense to claim the investigative role and hide the doc role IMO.  Can't figure out why you'd do it the other way around so good luck explaining that one.

BTW, you've got like 10% credibility with me so don't expect to be saved if I am not perfectly satisfied with those responses.  The only reason you didn't get hammered is that BFG unvoted and I am willing to step back in light of the fact that you somehow knew a doc wouldn't CC you into oblivion.

My role PM doesn't explain my role.  Had I not looked at the OP I could misunderstand it.  

 

Tangent: Why would Dice want to win with the town?  Even if he did how could he do it?  As of tomorrow (assuming someone not him is lynched) we can't win without his help and he can win without ours.  More importantly, if he doesn't win with mafia he WILL lose tomorrow because they will threaten to NK him if he doesn't go along with them.  I've done that to survivors as mafia, it's a common play.  The only way Dice helps us is if we definitively lynch mafia today and that is so far from guaranteed.

The poe was small,  so i felt like a tracker ability might be useful and wanted to paint myself into a smaller target in order to dodge tonight's night kill.

 

My role pm is worded a bit vague. I read sorcerer as 'determine if someone had a kill'

 

I couldn't claim sorcerer without providing a list of my Night Actions, and I didn't want to lie about critical information.

Your final line about claiming sorcerer makes sense to me at this stage and is credible.  The other two are meh but not unbelievable of a townie to do.  

 

Screw it.  I'm all in on this because if you're mafia town needs to get rid of me and if you aren't then finally we get the trio of clov/you/me out of the way and then this game is obvious.  I don't know what mrs. clov or leelou will do here but I suspect that they don't think us all three mafia together so hopefully things can get situated in the morning.  Personally I think Yates overplayed today in hopes of getting a PR lynched once he heard how much influence your role had.  As mafia he has the skill to live through that and you gave a good opportunity.  If it panned out this would be over and when we were getting close to sealing this game scum had to make a big move, especially with both Thane and Eldrick on the line (pretty much confirmed as his teammates if he is scum).
