Do I stay or do I go?

Those of you who are still around have most likely noticed a drastic reduction in my presence here. I not been able to find time in my days anymore to do much more than scan here. I feel terrible for this though as I have such love for this group and I feel as though it deserves a leader with more time to devote to it. 

 

On a personal level I do not want to step down as RGL because I love this group so much and I have so much hope that I will find a way to be here more, but on the other hand I feel like a terrible RGL since I've not been here. If this group will be better under a new leader I will happily step down to see this group move forward with new momentum, but we've had so many open staff positions with no one applying, and those who get the positions seem to disappear. 

 

I would sooner stay as RGL and be very inactive than have noone in the position at all.

 

So I suppose at this point I will let the people speak. 

 

Do you want me to stay on and continue to try to find a way to work more time for this group into my life, or do you believe that someone else will step up and apply for the position should it come available?

Not speaking for all of us, i know, but I personally feel the group would fall apart further without you as RGL. The lack of activity I'm sure has a number of different factors affecting it, but it definitely isn't a reason to step down and stop doing what you love best.

 

We'll still be here no matter what happens. Hope you find a way to come back soon in either case.

Inactivity is eating DM everywhere and it always hits the RP side the hardest. Honestly, there aren't enough people here to have announce step up, so I say stay where you are. Things could free up for you and we could get active here with the new bible coming out soon.

My two pence would basically be the same as Lor's. Your reasons for staying are the same as every RP Staff member has ever given for not quite letting go and the situation hasn't improved over the last 3 years. Don't worry about it, Kat. You're here, you're doing the best you can with the time and energy you have and at the end of the day, there's nobody to replace any of us. Better to at least have someone sticking their head in to check up once in a while than no-one at all.
