Since you all asked so nicely, here are some suspicions based on early impressions.

Sili

Sleeper

Tina

HalliYates

Earlyness of game and general inexperience are limiting factors.

Any reasons?

I'm reading with handwritten notes now, clearly the spreadsheet isn't working for me.

Lenlo's "MOARRRRR" demand is villager-y, seriously. That's about the fairest response to me that you could have when a couple other people are saying I'm wolfy and Tom's faking a wolf peek.

Eh, I don't really care about your reads. I just want to see you put in #effort.

wow rude

Survivors are amazeballs

And if I tread the line between wolfy and villagery I can make it to endgame no prob

And if you're nice to me I'll make the clutch vote at F5 for a village win

Be a jerk though and I'll probably use my amazing Dracula powers

I don't see a problem with letting a survivor live for a few days. But it might start being a problem if we fall behind, no offense.

Mostly very early posts - role is fresh in mind, first post sets tone for at least the early game, and scum try to come across as town as possible.  Anything seeming too town is suspicious to me, but again, I've never played with anyone here, so my reads are completely blind.

I don't know what a Survivor is, but you allegedly have a wolf peek of me, correct?

Usually dingus starts like this.  First post is all posturing, then he warms up and town tells like mad.

Which person is dingus? dice? monstr? They both did this.

monstr.

Dice is always scummy, and easy to confuse with scum. Same goes for csarmi.

A Survivor isn't a role on POG.

For those not in the know, a Survivor is a third/neutral party that wins with either town or mafia, just has to survive to endgame.

Since I exist, there are 2 wolves in this game.

So theoretically speaking is there any reason for MAFIA not to claim that role? Is there ALWAYS a survivor in basic setups (i.e., a reason not to claim it would be inevitable counter-claims)?

I see it in around ~25% of games, maybe less.

It's a good fake claim if scum knows there isn't one.

I´ve seen survivors in a lot of DM games but it´s often in larger games. This is my take:

1. If fake = mafia  -> lynch

2. If right then there are no guarantees that he will side with town. He does what needs to be done to win. He is not town!  -> lynch

3. A common fake claim for another 3rd party role (like sk)  -> lynch

I don´t know how many games I´ve been in where everyone says that we can lynch the survivor later and then town has lost.

Aj was the sk last game, confused his slot with a survivor, and I called him out on it and no one did anything.

Sucked.

Of course, as it turns out the mod kills him, he flips as you would expect, then I'm lyncehd and rerand as scum and win.

So you take your dividends is the morale of the story I suppose.  Life is like a box of chocolates.

Cory might be scum

Likelyhood?

30-40% max

I just dislike when he goes full aggro to start and disagrees with me on basic stuff

Cory explain the Tina read cuz it's bad juju over here

This is not me pushing you:

Can you explain why the Tina read is "bad juju" for you? I thought sili's first posts simply weren't very good, and that Tina dropped in and made a reasonable vote that I couldn't object to based on sili's posts. It also seems that sili isn't the kind of player who would be a target for a drive-by mafia snipe-vote, so I'm puzzled. Explain the counter-position to me.

He's probably not a SK in a 12 player basic, an SK and a mafia would go through town like hot knife in butter.

Hey Tommy, who's your character.

I'm going to treat you as if the claim never happened until it becomes verifiable somehow, works for you?

Don't care

I've never seen this happen. I saw AJ claim it as SK once? I might not claim D1 if I was someone else, but I can't win if I get NK'd for being too seery or something

"He who once was, and now is Xed"
