Oh crap. Sorry, guys. I didn't realize this game had started. I thought I read something about waiting until Sunday to start?

 

This is a holiday weekend and I have a full plate. I'm going to be swamped today and gone all day tomorrow [going to a stinking Jets game]. I'll put in some effort on Monday at the latest.

I dunno about Alanna. The only game i remember playing with her was when i was macia with Mish/Vos you tracker and Despo jailer and she was a villa.

I can look into her posts in nore detail but i have just a general impression so far. She sounded like the voice if reason. The wayy monstr sounded when scum.

Nyn while I don't think you were wrong about what you said last night that players without significant content shouldn't be cleared, that rant read a bit like scum who was annoyed at a mislynch slipping away. Sometimes it's seemingly impossible to clear someone but you can tell they're town anyway. Like Tress last game. And I'm not LOCK clearing salami but I think he's not gonna be part of the main mafia faction at the very least so I'm not concerned with him. I am concerned that he was becoming a consensus lynch until the point he flipped out though.

Infer what you like. In my book Salami is a viable lynch candidate and I explained in detail why.

Tommy i do have a little tinfoil about Nyn but the way he approached me (and brought new evidence ahe didn't need to) sounded a lot like she really did wish to discern my alignment. I don't have the all clear on her yet and i think it should be vety apparent by mid day two whether i am right on her. When she looks townie to me, she tends to look a crystal clear one.

If Hallia is scum then Salami was likely one of the players being groomed as a counter lynch. If neither are scum then we likely have 1-2 scum in the players who were a little too sure they're scum. Lots of people have called Hallia scum but nobody is even voting her. Des's 1-2-3 of Thane/Hallia/Salami is the low hanging fruit trio and we are gonna be in trouble if we just limply consensus in that direction. This segues into my philosophy rant coming up.

It was 10pm Nyn. Remember that SG game where i was obvi town and i got derp lynched on day one before half the playrra even really checked in? You were mafia there.

A game I was hosting just ended and it was really intense; one thing I was reminded of from it is that wolves are so frequently in the middle of the POE. They aren't the soldiers on the front lines (at least not consistently) and they aren't the scummiest players that fall off the map and get lynched later for it. They display just enough WIM to get suspicion off them and onto someone else and then fade into the background again. They set up the dominoes and then let them fall. The more advanced wolves can hang in the thread for a while to gain town cred but once the village goes awry they fade out again. I watched it happen over and over. We saw this all last game with TG/Vos, Thane, and Halliami. So players who are always aggressively solving probably won't be scum and players who are aggressively useless probably won't be scum but probably will be lynches. It's those that are near the bottom of the POE but seem to always float back up a little when it matters that will be scum.

Well I don't know about other people.... but considering I've had a stronger feel for Salami and Clov, that's where my vote was at, at one time or another.

 

Hallia is being weird. I think she's more likely rand to be scum here. Though I will say that some of her interaction with Des kinda got me to sympathize with her a bit. But I'm not gonna let it cloud my judgement. In any case, if I get enough time later I will ISO her posts and post my findings.

I haven't read anything. I got poked by mod and was like "oh shi-oot!" And we are on page 46 already.

 

Good news is that I have new insight on Nyn!scum so that should help me read her. AND I think I've finally figured out the puzzle to reading Des and Tommy. So I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty.

I've only really been here since page 30, so bare that in mind when I say despothera is a little excessive in the quantity of his posts, but somewhat lacking in the quality of their contents. I have a feeling he might be scum, wouldn't be surprised, and have no problem with somebody confirming my thoughts and making a wagon of it.

 

That said my experience and evidence is fairly shallow so if you're not already swaying one way or the other don't let my opinion teeter you over the edge.

Also, maybe someone could expain why clovdyx and woobat(that's his name?) are no longer a suspects? I don't have a strong conviction, but last I read of clovydx he was wolfish and the same goes for woobat(hope that's his name). clov more than woo.

When does day phase end? We need to consollidate at some point. 47 pages should be enough.
