In a nutshell I believe people should be judged on their play, NOT their character claims. Character claims are meaningless to me since they could be safe claims or just random and not really flavor oriented.

 

And Yates' play lately looks slimy

How can you find out now if I'm AFTER yates? There's no way even if you were a Day LD you could do a multiple detection.

Nothing is absolute. Everything is gameplay. Our playstyles, our claims, our words. None should be taken alone, but each is a crucial part in figuring out the game. Just because you feel they're irrelevant doesn't make it so.

They ARE irrelevant tho. Character claims can EASILY be mod given safe claims. Even major characters in normal theme games. Seen town make big blunders SOOO many times because a character claim was believed.

 

And Hallia you admit yourself you tend to believe most claims on the spot so...

I agree with Hally here. What she's saying IMO is that she takes in all factors surrounding a claim. I don't think she just believed Tommy cause he said he wasn't food. There was a whole discussion around it. Don't ignore when he said it, why he said it, how he said it. She's good at this kind of holistic reading.

I liked Darthe's reads list too btw. And I also liked Tommy's summary of how to catch a Darthe. And I also agree that the Poisoner is likely third party killer, not town Poisoner.

Fwiw I don't have as big a problem with Hallia townreading Tommy for him saying he wasn't food

 

Tommy offered that with absolutely no pressure on him, and also could have been gauging others reactions (which he was) so I could see seeing him as somewhat townish for that

 

Tommy IS absurdly town this game, but I developed my read off his play in aggregate, notsomuch off of that one thing, but eh I don't have much problem with Hallia doing so

 

But I WOULD say that saying Yates is off the lynch table today or anything like that just because he claimed watermelon yogurt is baaaaad. He has a LOT more against him than Tommy ever did PLUS, have you ever seen Yates this focused on his own character claim?

 

I could prob iso Yates and find roughly ~20 posts at least focused around talk about his yogurt claim. Which would be close to 1/10 of his posts. Don't really see town!Yates being that focused on that, and def not trying to clear himself through Hallia because Cory's fave snack is watermelon yogurt supposedly

des and csarmi  why is SP getting read as mafia? and it seems has from the very beginning. I have him as town. Tommys reaction when SP first posted seemed to be an auto "i always want you lynched" sort of thing and people seemed to follow that.
