I think TG is a better cop check than a vig shot, FYI. I prefer to wagon talkative players and vig the slankers.

 

Don't bother copping TG, he just scumslipped hardcore. He posted "I say block Vos, Tommy likely to view me", then edited it to say "Why?"

 

Obv wrote something ITT that was meant to go in QT

 

I'm so freaking relieved because now I don't have to respond to all of TG's BS narrative on me

Even tho it is kinda slimy to use this scumslip against him, I have ZERO qualms about it considering TG was pushing at me

Do you think Des would be coming in and dropping thoughts organically like he has if he was scum and 2 of his bros just died? That would be depressing as heck if I was scum. I would lose WIM big time. Huge comeback required.

 

Are you even reading?  Des WiM sank like a tiny pebble in a sad sad stream.  And he has since been flagellating it like crazy to get it to come back up while constantly telling people it might go right back down.

Besides, I don't see Des as ever getting to the point of emo-quit even if a couple of his scumbros died.  I can see him taking a moment to recover and, once his ego gets back, thinking he is gonna go HAM and win the game by himself.

For instance- at the very start of this game, I had just ridiculous amounts of WIM. I was all about getting out thoughts and observations instantly and kickstarting the game into super cereal mode as soon as possible. Instead, I caught a lot of flak early on or what I felt was dubious reasons. That was the start of me getting heated, but I did start to cool down again.

 

Then Tommy basically started trolling me with the "shook" thing. I warned him to cut that shit, he didn't, so I put him on iggy. Then after THAT I felt multiple people were ganging up on me for absolutely dogshit reasons considering Tommy was the one antagonizing me.

 

THAT'S what caused my meltdown.

 

So basically in the future if you play with me, if there is legit reason for a lot of people to suspect me, I'll prob be fine with it. But if people are ganging up on me for bad reasons from my perspective, I'm def more likely to emorage.

 

Now, does this mean I won't sometimes use this to my advantage as scum and AtE now and then? No. I'm very aware of my meta and will abuse it when I see fit (AtE can be frustrating but IS part of the game). But still, something to consider when dealing with me in the future.

 

I can't read this quote without thinking A) His WiM took a dip and took a while to recover and  B) he's scumtelling by brazenly talking about how he manipulates AtE

Through page 10, to illustrate my point on how Despo takes Tommy's outs to buddy him and get clear.

 

He started by trying to get me off his back with a "you should find REAL scum" nonsense AtE flop, then just bounced onto the nearest person he could vote for "organically" that wasn't me (but it looked bad, especially coming off his stupid weak questions to Salami and Hallia), and is now going to spend the rest of the day calling me scum but not having the guts to actually attack me. Calling it now.

 

Here Tommy calls out what Des would do as scum, basically continue to call him scum but not attack full bore.  The counter point is that a town!Des would actually attack.  What does Des do in the very next post to look town?

I assume you're not going to follow up on your Hallia "suspicions" now that she's voted for you, and that's not surprising to me at all.

 

 

Here Tommy mentions who Des suddenly forgot about Hallia while responding to him.  Indicating that a town!Des would return to Hallia.  Shortly thereafter...

 

Something else to remember should Tommy turn out to be town- all the peeps who got quiet during this little exchange. Darthe and AJ come to mind for this. Csarmi is still posting and looking out for things actively so I'd say that looks good for him.

Just went back and saw Hallia's vote on me and it WAS awful. Looked opportunistic as he'll the way she also tried painting me as a bully with the Lenlo stuff

 

Des goes back to commenting on Hallia.

By page 16 the Des/Tommy argument had gotten a bit chill. 

 

 

I did think about a scum watcher and decided A) they are rare and B) unlikely in a game this small and C) I don't care because I'm dying N1. I die N1 because I can't keep my mouth shut. I cause drama, I rile up the thread, I try to find mafia. That's bad news for scum who want the thread quiet and complacent. Is it possible I would live to D2? Yeah it's possible. I just don't think it's likely, particularly after I've started getting riled up. At least now there's doubt. Shooting me tonight might be a waste. And if I can draw a roleblock: that's fine too. I'll just keep hunting myself. I don't need cop views to scumhunt.

And like I said I don't think this is an optimal strat for basically anyone else but I hate being cop in small games and I decided to just go for the doc appeal instead of doing nothing and dying anyway. It's an experiment at the very least.

 

Fair enough for the claiming early.

 

Still think your push on me was terribad.

 

Here Des full on backs down and changes his tone entirely about the PR claim from Tommy, which is what Tommy said earlier that Des would have to do.

 

Btw Des, regardless of your alignment:

You can't call me scum for not trying to discern your alignment and then make posts like this:

"Meanwhile you're continuously trying to give yourself an out for changing your mind on me if I "improve"."

You did this to me in Hoof's game too. It makes no sense. You're saying I'm scum if I do and I'm scum if I don't.

Don't do that. It's bad.

 

Finally, Tommy calls Des out for confirmation bias type thinking.  Des responds saying he shouldn't give townie points to someone for doing what was said to be the town move.  But then he finishes his full back down with what is below.

 

Regardless, if I'm not mistaken we aren't really suspecting each other anymore, so meh let's just forget about it and move on to catching scum Tommy. We obviously have a tendency to butt heads at times in mafia games. Won't be the first time won't be the last.

 

Looking at the fight, Des took a number of outs offered by Tommy in order to get townie points.  Des, don't act like I'm saying you were shook because I never said that, but you definitely used anything you could during the argument to win town cred for yourself.

Me neither in a way. I'm honestly pretty disappointed that I didn't get to thunderdome with TG and prove what I was saying was true, I had some REALLY good points to make on a lot of those posts I quoted of his.

I also really just don't understand how this kind of thing happens at all- the formats are so extremely different for DM and QT how in the world do you accidentally post something meant for QT ITT? I can understand posting in the wrong QT, but this is just quazy
