I think I am going to save the bulk of my thoughts for when night ends but in short I find claims so far to be legit (maybe sans that bodyguard claim, but the Len flip makes that a bit cleaner barring heavy scum PR), Tommy imo is a bit muddled this game but it's Tommy who I can't really read to be fair. Des looks sincere but his arguments with Tommy, Arsis, Salami, Kates etc are a lot of conflict that's fairly unnecessary thus far in the game. I also think that Kates/Salami are off. It's a total gut thing but if I die look into them (probably as a lategame tinfoil) and in the short run trust

I'm unsure how to reconcile Key's big FOS post at everyone who was talking about lynching Darthe. At the time she had voiced suspicions of me already, but in the same post says that looking at me in ISO makes her want to put me as town. Was she talking about Thane and Vos in that instance - who were looking somewhat sketchy at the time but are now likely heavily town spewed?

 

Either way, not a very good look. I'm not sure I want to leave them alive that long anyway, with all the WIFOM surrounding them right now. Yates/Key scumsibs would be a formidable team and I don't think they've have that hard of a time talking their way around it once some of the other more vocal townies are gone.

Strange going after Csarmi and Darthe. Gets cranky when Csarmi doesn't "play the game". FOS's Des but then goes on to protect/buddy. Votes (quite randomly?) Darthe. Tries to take the "town leader" role. Blantantly (and irritatingly) attacks Csarmi with the whole "get on my level" (pfft). Being very submissive when communicating with Tommy. 
 
I dunno. We're like 24 hours into the game and most people haven't said more than hullo. But from the pile, this is the thickest straw

Des: It's not black and white though. I mainly agree with you, however, soft claiming can be a good way for VTs to draw kills away from PRs. 
 
So Thane's soft claim can go ahead and float around there, it can be either way, let's leave it to mafia to try and decipher it, yes?

Also getting modkilled intentionally is way against the spirit of the game. It's plain cheating and I'd put it level with, say, sneaking into dead threads.

This was the game mechanic used in Tron. But if you think mafia will not be voting, then that helps you id them so I don't see the problem.

 

 

 

 

Thane it confuses me that A) you think claiming is the only way you could be capable of clearing yourself and B) you refuse to claim even if you get lynched as a result. Is that correct? Why would you think that's a good plan?

Actually in OUAT he spent most of the game believing people when they said they were town - lol, it worked in that game because town had a LD (not Thane) so mafia really didn't want to say 'I'm Town'

 

 

 

Ok, so to compare Town Thane (OUAT)

Joke posts, joins RTE train (Archer joke train) votes Dawn to add pressure to his question about her actions. Questions Tina on defending Dawn, explains his vote, sort of nails Nikon, still wary of everyone, more jokes, analyses votes, says he's blunt, analyses votes, votes Basel...

That was page 1 of his iso. Similarities to that game include his position that people who post are townier,

Differences I'm not seeing analysis or questions or votes this time. Posts a reads list after Turin asks for one formatted for a LD (actually how long this takes to be done in a useable manner makes me think that the claim thing could be Town Thane).

See in the 3 games we played you were lynched Day 1 as mafia and Day 2 as mafia and town...

Very early game, pointed out his posts were different then when Des asked why you said something like different not scummy.

He was mafia in Csarmi's hydra game, but I can't remember the forum, was hydra, something like his second game so not a reliable indicator.

Personally I'm going with how different he is to his OUAT game this time. His town game then was proactive this, just isn't.

Hmmm, thought I'd posted this before work.



A cursory analysis says that Tommy and Hallia are likely town, this isn't just claims. Tommy is more abrasive than I've seen when he's mafia, I liked Hallia's early posting against Des. Claim wise unless a ST, Ninja, non GF type mafia ilk role flips, Tommy's claim is solid and the way that Hallia claimed makes me lean town.

After that I'm mixed on almost everyone.

Des seems a bit meh, his early game play seemed to be observations over actual game play, and he completely over reacted to Tommy, I have literally no idea where he gets Tommy 'obfuscating' from. In terms of emo rage it was also fairly null. Early on seemed to be reading Hallia/Tommy as mafia, but mostly dropped Hallia while arguing with Tommy, comparatively Tommy was still questioning both and anyone else who posted. Also had Krak as mafia and did nothing to follow it up. I really don't like his 'reasons' for being off, particularly where he says that he hasn't played for a while, given that he was playing Mynd's Avengers game a few weeks ago. I also need to reread to see where Des changes, I remember his switch between trololol Tommy's mafia to 'ignore' seemed abrupt and around the time of the claim, which seems a little strange. Overall leaning mafia.

If Des did flip mafia I'd argue that Dice was Town as there was a bit where Des seemed to be Role hunting from him.

Csarmi is a tough read this time. However his self vote seemed calculated rather than emotional which is at odds to how he normally plays. His quick backing off of Des also doesn't look good, but makes mafia/mafia unlikely. How he's posting his observations is town Csarmi, but I've never seen mafia Csarmi so I don't know what the differences are, he's also pretty confident that Hallia and I will read him as town. Need to reread as my thoughts change quickly.

Thane is making my hackles rise. Starting with the 'I'm often seen as scummy and lynched early' as the last time I saw this he was mafia symp. More worryingly he isn't asking any of the questions I associate with Town Thane from OUAT. I've seen a lot of meta defence and almost no mafia hunting. Likely mafia.

AJ's generally making good points, think he caught the Des and Krak interaction, but don't remember it being followed up on.

TG's recent posts are great. Town read.

Think Lenlo said something about new and improved but don't recall anything from him.

As of now Des, Thane, Lenlo aren't looking good wtl..
