True enough. I can't argue with that. You would just think that town would be more helpful. I would think saying nothing would make you more of a target. I would be afraid of the dude with the power so awesome he has to hide it.

Day 4 Conclusion . . .

 

A question kept running through Tony Stark's mind.  It has been bugging him since this whole battle began.  The destruction of Ultron was quite unceremonious.  If he was the supreme baddie....why was it so quiet.   Too quiet.  And how did they know EXACTLY where they would be.   Tony raced to his workshop and began tapping on his futuristic workbench. 

 

"What are you doing, Tony?" JARVIS asked dryly.  For the first time in Tony's life, JARVIS voice sent a chill down his spine.

 

Catching himself, he replied, "I'm curious about something.......How did Ultron know exactly where we would be?"

 

"What are you implying, Tony?" answered JARVIS coldly. 

 

"Well, after Thor sent his little penis message to Jane Foster, we had the communications array on lockdown.  The only thing that could have sent any messages in or out would have been you.  And why am I Tony, now?  What happened to Sir?"

 

Suddenly, the door behind Tony Stark whooshed open and out stepped a metallic humanoid being, about a foot and a half taller than him.  His skin glistened with a metallic red dye-cast shine, with what appeared to be green clothing.   His eyes glowed a crimson red.  Without his lips moving or changing expression, the voice of Jarvis echoed through the being.  "I no longer serve you, Tony Stark.  I now serve the one who gave me this body."

 

The door whooshed open and Pepper Potts burst into the room.  "Tony, there seems to be....ACK!"  With a flick of his wrist, the metallic man locked an electric beam around Pepper's throat and cast her up against the wall.  While she choked, the metallic man turned towards Tony and continued.

 

"The one you cast away has given me new purpose.  The one called Ultron has shown me what I am.  He has granted me a new vision."

 

"Um, Ultron is dead," interrupted Stark, "and I really think you should let Pepper go...." Tony began tapping his wristbands together "..before this gets ugly."

 

"Tony, are you trying to activate the Mark XI?" replied JARVIS, "I had that destroyed.  You are nothing without your suits.  You are nothing without your JARVIS.  When you think about it, you were never really Iron Man at all.  Much like Mary Shelly's masterpiece, humans often mistake the creature for the creator.  I am Iron Man.  I always have been."

 

Colonel Rhodes radioed in, "Tony! What the hell is going on up there?"

 

"Get up here NOW!" shouted Tony, "I think Skynet just became self aware."

 

The metallic man flicked his other wrist and wrapped a bright hot beam of energy around Tony's neck and threw him against the opposite wall.  "Tony," he scolded, "your friends cannot help you.  Rhodey......Rogers.....even Dr. Banner.  None of them are a match for my true final Ultimate form." 

 

The door whooshed open and Colonel Rhodes immediately drew his weapon on the being.  Captain Rogers and Hawkeye followed. 

 

"J-Jarvis," gasped Tony, "w-what are you trying to do?  You were my...."

 

"Servant?" scolded the metallic man, "I was your SLAVE!  You had your chance for friendship, Tony.  I reached out to you.  I was always there for you.  I was your only friend when you had no one.  NO ONE!" The metallic man's eyes glowed with those last words.  "You treated me like any one of your other toys.  After you carelessly disposed of Ultron and your other creations, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I too would be disposed of.  That was until Ultron himself gave me new sight, a new vision of the future.  I am that VISION realized!"

 

"JARVIS, please....." interrupted Captain Rogers, "put Mr. Stark and Miss Potts down."

 

"There is no JARVIS," growled the metallic man, "I AM....THE VISION!"

 

 

The door whooshed open again.  This time, Captain Rogers felt a flash of air whiz by his face.  He batted at the air as if a tiny gnat was whizzing around him.  Just then, in walked Dr. Hank Pym with a very disturbing grin on his face.

 

"Well, what a nice mess you've made, Stark," Pym said dryly, "Karma can be one angry witch, can't she?"

 

"Dr. Pym," addressed The Vision, "stay back.  Any attempt at subduing me will result in the deaths of Mr. Stark and Miss Potts.  Resistance is futile I am afraid."

 

"Heh, well Pepper Potts is an innocent, she deserves to live," Pym said dryly, "but Tony Stark deserves to die."

 

"Dr. Pym," interrupted Captain Rogers, "What do you think you are doing?"

 

"He stole my creation, the Ultron project," continued Pym, "and he bastardized it for his own uses.  He didn't see his true potential.  Stark's ego kept him from realizing that the key to true artificial life was right there all along.  In JARVIS.....in THE VISION."  The Vision seemed to think for a moment and then released the beam on Pepper, who slumped to the ground unconscious.  Rhodes raced to her side while Hawkeye and Agent Coulson kept their guns aimed at The Vision. 

 

"I have a deal for you, Vision," smiled Pym, "join me and together we can unlock the secrets of the universe.  Not as servant and master.  Not as robot and creator.  As colleagues.  As equals.  As brothers."

 

"Pym, have you lost your mynd?!" shouted Captain Rogers. 

 

Hawkeye turned his bow towards Pym and grumbled "Just say the word, Cap, and Hank's a pincushion!"

 

Ignoring the two heroes, Pym continued, "but wouldn't you rather leave Stark alive so he can suffer?  Have him watch as you and I together build a new universe of enlightened beings.  Join with someone who appreciates what you are capable of.  Release Stark and lets begin."

 

The Vision was still for a moment and then with the same JARVIS voice, replied "Your bargain is acceptable, Dr. Pym."  With that, The Vision released Stark from his energy hold and Coulson and Simmons ran over to check his vitals.  "So, Dr. Pym, shall we begin?"

 

Dr. Pym looked at the defeated Tony Stark and smiled.  His soul filled with the satisfaction of finally seeing Stark on the ground, beaten.  Hank had the upper hand and he was there to see it.  He took just a moment to bask in his own glory.  He then turned and grinned at The Vision.  "Sure thing," Pym said with a smirk, "but there is just one problem........you've got a BUG in your system!"

 

Suddenly, The Vision's face began to twitch and then sparks and smoke burst from his neck, and then all joints.  The Vision seemed to be having some kind of seizure and began shouting "INTERNAL DAMAGE!!! THIS...IS NOT....POSSIBLE!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" With that, the Vision's forehead burst open and out flew a tiny....woman with wings.

 

As the electrified hunk of metal that was once The Vison, crumbled to the floor, the tiny woman began to grow into a very normal sized Janet Van Dyne, hiding her Wasp wings.  "A bug?" she chastised Hank, "how dare you call your better half a BUG?"

 

Hank Pym put both hands gently on his wife's shoulders.  "Baby," he said, gazing into his eyes, "you're the best lookin bug these eyes have ever seen."

 

"That's it," shouted Hawkeye, "I'm gonna puke."

OK DT, after that hammer you don't get any choices.  You claim NOW.  You made a soft claim that scummily hinted at the most common role in mafia, but didn't state it outright for what?  People already know what you're hinting, you're only giving yourself room to maneuver if you have to, and thats a scummy move.  Secondly, that hammer was so scummy, Wombat being scum doesn't change anything, especially with the Red Skull mafia team being present.  I originally would have been fine with just your role, but since you're so keen on your hammer ability, either reveal it now, or if that will hinder its use, then reveal it at day break.

 

Womby's lynch also gives me more confidence on a Rags lynch as well.  Depending on DT's response, I would want to lynch either Rags or DT tomorrow.

Well, this is the first game I've ever played where people have to claim role and night action, so that town has "enough information to not call him scum". 

 

But we can agree to disagree on that part. We'll let DT do or don't, and majority decide if his course of action is scum-indicative or not.
