I would be willing to take the risk on lynching Rags considering that town has taken out five scum, one from three teams each at least, and only three townies have died and we have a guilty result on him.

 

However, that doesn't seem to be the direction that the town is going in.  I really want to see some consensus opinions from a lot of different people before I switch if I have to.  I consider Rags potentially vastly more dangerous and thus I am suspect of the rather strong push away from lynching him.  I don't see his potential positive utility as worth the risk that he presents and worse still is that the weight of this decision has been implied to weigh negatively on me if I don't move to Wombat as evidenced by Tommy asking me if I was recruited by my initial hesitance to switch etc.

 

Based on the above I see very VERY little chance of me moving to Wombat today, it strikes me as foolish and on thread bullying that is pushing away from Rags while those same people say that they are fully willing to lynch him.  With recruiting in the game there is no way in hell that I am going to play to that.

Could you take two seconds of this game to not be a little shit about everything or am I asking too much?  Last time I checked requesting reasoning for something isn't "childish bs", it's playing the game appropriately.

I got at that when people continued to vote without explaining how one of them is the clearly better option than the other.  I stand by it firmly.  One person (TG) bothered explaining the reasoning behind taking the safer of the two routes and his explanation was a decent one.  I significantly doubt that the ENTIRE town, on the other hand, would all want to choose the safe choice over the one that had the potential to harm us the most.  My comparison to Rand, who wanted to lynch Dice over a potential recruiter, was incredibly apt in this.

When I say that you're acting like a group of morons this is the sort of behavior that I'm talking about.  If a person can't discuss things adequately without being criticized and labeled how do you expect to move forward?  Not completely incompetent questions, just basic fact checking.

We also have a guilty on Wombat. Also, we KNOW what Rags can do – whether town or scum he can gift players something based on a dead role. So, now he’s in a corner. If he is scum and wants everyone to think he’s town, then he needs to play along and gift a cleared townie something nice. If he is town, then he also needs to gift someone something nice in order to try and dig himself out of the hole that he’s in due to a guilty view. He can also be roleblocked, though I’m sure with a town bus driver, that the mafia have roles to mess results and actions up as well.

 

However, we don’t know Wombat’s role, so imo, that makes him more dangerous.

@Key, thank you I must have missed that post.  I can see the logic in that though I would consider Rags ability more dangerous than most that I can think of.  No sense in what-if-ing the situation so I won't go there but I question how unanimous this push is.

Do you think that everyone agreeing with you makes you right?  I think you're taking this terribly personally whereas I am debating a point.  Not the point of your intelligence or stupidity, but a rationalized argument of the potential gains or losses garnered from a certain series of actions that we can take.  You can choose to disagree with me if you want but your emotional outbursts won't gain you any ground with me.

Actually, just as a continuation of the last post, I would think that it being unanimous would be a bad sign Arsis.  See, this game happens to have an anti-town faction (that we've been decimating btw, you're welcome), and they have a say in things.  Some of them may still be unknown and likely are.  It should rightfully concern you if EVERYONE agrees on anything.

None that we don't already assume from what I can gather.  I think you're doing a better job of making my point here than I am since people get grumpy with me.  You could say the same of Rags but his ability (so far as we know) can directly help anyone that he wants to.  I don't see the point of keeping someone around who we know can provide an anti-town comeback nor can I think of any ability potentially worse for us short of killing half the town, bringing back dead villains and making them invincible, etc.

I don't really see Ragnarok pulling a non-townie move at this juncture. Just my gut of course which is of little value.

 

I would like to see/hear from some of the less vocal. With three scum dead they will be looking to lurk in hopes of town mislynching.

I don't have to move it and town doesn't have to follow me but if you all are going to lynch both of them anyhow and people don't care too much about the preference it would be nice to keep me as confirmed town.
