Rand thats the thing. Your calling it a joke vote, the rest of us are calling it something else hidden as a joke vote.

 

What pray tell, was I hiding in my joke vote then?  When was the last time you saw a train start literally from a joke vote and no more evidence than just it sounds like a good lynch because this guy mentioned it?  The reasoning that my joke vote was supposed to subtly insinuate Mynd as town is as ridiculous as the effect is implausible.  One joke vote won't start a lynch.  If the reaction to that joke vote is bad by the person being voted on, that may lead to a lynch, but that happened because of the players reaction, not because of the joke vote itself.

I see Salami as generically scummy for the same reason you posed -- the wolfy pop-ins that don't lead anywhere, as if he's not really interested in a response -- but to memory that's true for him in general. Disjointed. It's been a while since we've made it through a whole D1 together and I'm 20% afraid if I push him he might quit (and I wish I was joking) so my hope is to read BFG instead of him, but she ain't here yet.

Drunk's post was the scummiest thing in this thread so far. It feels completely out of the otherwise jovial flow of this thread. You know how DM games usually start with fun and banter and then slowly become serious? It felt like Drunk couldn't get his footing in that environment, and I think it's because he's scum.

Sorry I've been gone a couple of days.  Life got in the way and that's all that needs to be said for now.  

 

We've gained about 10 pages since I was gone ( ) so let's talk about that.  

 

First and foremost I think we can successfully summate this from today:

 

Vos is prob town here

Clov too

Rand too

TG is likely town

Tommy is likely town (people asked me why for this read earlier, it is mainly because his tone and WIM here is consistent with what I am used to from townmmy)

I've dropped my other reads since they've become muddled

This is why I think vos is likely town in almost any scenario this game.  A bit early for this sort of read but I really love this post.  He is relaxed (joke at the end of the post specifically says that), his reads are decent (I disagree with mynd and am not sure how he got such a quick read on Tommy and I since he hasn't played with us as much), mainly I love his point on Salami.  It's an echo of my own (or is mine an echo of his since he put it on screen first?) Which is that Salami is making this terribly concerted effort to squeeze out reads and look like he is making progress.  Aka trying to blend = scum

 

 

So 2 things from this. First can you explain where the WIM and tone read is coming from from his first few posts BEFORE your read, or explain where the read came from?

 

Second, Vos's read comes after a lot more gameplay from Tommy, and why would experience playing with either of you affect how early he gets his reads? Personal experience makes me more wary of Tommy and less likely to give him an early pass. 

 

 

In both of the below posts Csarmi is pretty clear that he's asking about your early read, which isn't explained. Can you show WIM/tone from those first four posts?

Just to be clear here: This is not a leading, strategic or hinting question, but a genuine one: Do you feel it significant? Are you hinting at them being team-members, because I feel like a great big steaming pile of crap has been collected over Darthe saying he had a "slight villa lean" on Tommy. To me at least, it seems like scum picking up a slight inconsistency and latching on for dear life, moreso than scum slipping a team-mate. Coupled with RTCsarmi's fake scumhunting throughout the game, FOS once again.

Think there are two players ITT that I'm happy with reading, I'm hydra'ed to one and the other is very quiet atm.

Experience says he's trolling too hard to be scum. Having never played with him, I don't know for sure. He could just be the type to troll regardless of alignment. But both TG and Rand have declared him a bad vote for today for dubious reasons, so I think a flip from either of them can tell us more about the Drunkard.

 

Can you explain why this isn't ironic - saying TG/Rand have 'cleared' him for bad reasons when apparently clearing him for trolling to hard to be mafia? From what I recall TG was saying he wouldn't vote him D1, not that he was clear? Think Nyn had a good point around this conversation.

No, I'm not hinting at them being team members. I have a very slight town lean on Tommy, but prior games means I don't trust this very far yet. I'm suspicious in general of reads that seem to get explained by later events, and Darthe also seems to be working on riling Csarmi up and shrugging off the question instead of answering it.

 

And also, RTE isn't playing this game, it's a BFCsarmi team
