I've already tried to explain it, but I'll humor you and sum it up:

 

I had you as a slight town-read after Cory flipped, then you started "emoing"/bickering and came out looking scummyer for it. Slight scum lean. You started your re-read and I waited to give you the benefit of catching up. All the while you were desperately trying to get out of heat, which seemed oddly desperate. Still giving you the benefit of catching up, but in the end you summed it up with a fake-looking reads-list that cleared ALL the active players applying pressure, and left inactives as scum. This all just enhanced the fact that you are trying to stay alive, not catch scum.

 

IE: you have a scum win-con, not a town win-con.

 

IE: You are scum.

Darthe... Every time I ask you something, whether it's about Dap, or about RTE, you try to bully your way out it. Why? I'm not asking complicated questions. You appear to not have answers for them. THAT is scummy.

The answers are on the page.  There are literally pages of content about each thing.  You simply don't want people to read them, want them instead to focus on the current and thus are pretending that they don't exist.  It's called Object Recency, a psych trick.  I responded point for point on DAP after you incessently ignored your own post that you wanted me to respond to and then I additionally posted a list of things he had done that were town in the early-mid game.  You can't ignore that because I've now linked it in this post. In addition Des/Red/myself all had arguments with RTE in the past 15 pages and he was called out by a lot of people in the first ten pages of the game.  There's no need for anyone who has read the game to have all of that content rehashed.  You can call it whatever you want to and try to twist it however you want Tommy but these things are facts.  RTE is royally screwed and has played the worst possible game for his scum team.  You're too far into it to not defend him so you're going to die too.   As a matter of fact, the two posts that I made TWO PAGES AGO fairly incriminate RTE and clear Dap on their own.  Surely you didn't miss those when you RESPONDED TO THEM?

I don't see what those people providing input is going to do for you by and large Mynd.  Do you not have enough conviction in your reads to play to them as is?  I get Dap TG and Laya, they haven't been around much.  Womby, Nyn and Quibby were solid before and have had a good bit of contribution in the game, if not recently.  Can you explain what your looking for or will that get in the way?

This is probably one of the worst mafia games that I have knowledge of in a long time on this site. And this has nothing at all to do with the game setup or the mod. So many whiney cry baby players.

If you can't handle it don't play. Seriously. I have finally accepted that DM players are not accommodating at all to new players and most mafia games, if read by someone wanting to try a mafia game out, would not look attractive to them at all. Once I thought that we had a different philosophy but this is what it is now I guess. So if you can't deal, then just watch. Mod shouldn't have to modkill and replace because of theatrics ON DAY 1 OF THE GAME. And this from veteran players...

when silencing roles were a thing on DM i took the stance that casing a person or FoSing them while silence and even lynching them (excluding a finders claim) was bad juju.  this stance will NOT change.

We can all agree that Tommy messed up big time. But Cory is the one to blame for that, and only himself. To say anything else is ludicrous and quite frankly downright stupid.

 

Tommy really jumped the gun and posted with his emotions. Not many people in this game who can say they haven't done the latter. But most importantly Cory got himself AND Hallia killed. No one else had any part in that.

The same as his name suggests.  My message to him was chock full of sarcasm.  Like my original casing said, Trivia Question: Whose name matches the total contributions and posts of that player to this game?  Answer: Zer0.

We are gearing up for a D1 lynch.  We need committed votes from these people and their reasons for them before everyone swoops in and cries "Well, we need a majority lynch so...BLEH!"  When our D1 lynch flips scum or town, we need everyone voting somewhere to give us the most info. 

 

I'm pretty sure about my casings at this point.  Sure, anything could change them, but I think we're heading for a very pro-town conclusion to D1.

When I started catching up just now (fifteen pages ago), all I was getting was page after page of Des and Tommy going back and forth. Now, fifteen pages later, Des has gone quiet and Tommy- a leading scum candidate in some people's opinions- is now calling the shots. Does anybody else find this strange?

 

That being said, I think that Des is a better option to lynch than Tommy. Part of this is the fact that I had to wade through a further fifteen pages of posts that mostly consisted of relatively weak arguments combined with constant harassment and a refusal to consider other options.

 

My alternative is just a hunch, but I feel that there might be something to learn from lynching Wombat. I can't point to a single thing to justify it, though, so take from that what you will.
