Spurs have two elimination games to get it done, I think they can get at least one.  I predict OKC wins tonight by a score of 108-103 and it goes back to SA where the Spurs win game 7 by 96-95.

Wow.  That game was intense.  And SA completely deserves to be there.  It seemed like every possesion of 4th and OT Russell would bring the ball down and not pass, at all, for any reason, unless he was driving the ball and didn't get anywhere and need to pass to bail out.

Westbrook.  Not a point guard.

Apparently the Thunder either had 0 or 1 passes on 62 of 100ish possessions in that game.  Wow...talk about hero ball and not playing as a team.

Spurs. Probably 6. Hopefully 7.

Spurs are better than last year. Heat are worse. And it took a miracle for them to win last year.

How are they worse? I don't think they are. And I thought they played terribly last year. I thought they were capable of playing WAY better than that.

Miller is gone, Battier is a shell of himself, and Haslem and Lewis are on their last legs.

Although at least Wade will be worth something this time around.

From a matchup standpoint I think OKC offered a more entertaining series.

Durant v Lebron / Westbrook v Wade just sound like some awesome head-to-head matchups in the NBA Finals.

Gotta disagree.  It would be entertaining if OKC actually passed the ball instead of played to beat you 1v1.  They wouldn't beat Miami in 1v1 ball and Miami, by actually passing, would beat OKC just like the Spurs did.

OKC-Miami sounds awesome just for the all-star power, but for basketball reality, I don't think so.

That being say, I think the regular season malaise of the Heat doesn't indicate how good they are.  The Heat didn't care if they were the 8th seed, they just wanted to get there first before turning it on.  So the argument of the Heat being a worse team this year doesn't hold for me.

I think the Heat and Spurs are both better teams than last year.  The Spurs because some of the younger folk like Leonard and Green are another year more experienced, and the Heat because they are coming in healthier and with more energy.

7 game series.  My heart says the Heat, my mind says the Spurs.

Nah, Haslem is fine, Lewis is turning back the clock, Ray is being Ray  , Battier is still playing stellar defense even if he's not scoring, Bosh has stopped playing like a scrub, and Bird is playing out of his mind. Also they still have that man... LeBron James. They also have Norris Cole who is an underrated defender on the perimeter. I agree with TG, I think they are actually better this year.

That game was so good.  Until the end.  Blah.  I would have been happy even if the Heat had lost if they hadn't just given up the ghost like that.  Ugh.

I tell you though, if I worked on AC and lived in San Antonio, I would definitely be out sick and unable to fix anything for the next couple of days.
