Can neutrinos travel fast than the speed of light?  One experiment seemed to indicate they could even though everyone knew it just couldn't possibly be correct.  What about cold fusion, did Pons and Fleischman really achieve cold fusion in 1989?  What about the famous Upsilon particle supposedly detected in 1976 that decayed into an electron-positron pair?  And what about the mini-Boone experiment that seemed to show a possible 4th, 5th, maybe even 6th neutrino signature?  What did scientists really see in all these experiments?

 

All these, and many more results in science, are examples of experimental error.  Science is self-correcting, so each "discovery" was quickly proven false, but experimental error can lead scientists down the wrong track, wasting valuable time and effort.  But, just as in the real world, here too experimental error is quickly sussed out and corrected.

I think he could be right about one of them being mafia, but my gut leans more towards Ice. Dawn's posts are becoming more thought out. Ice's posts are mostly defensive or accusing with no basis.

Doesn't that run contrary to one another? As leaps in the improve direction is more subject to show hands on coaching?

I think I got everyone. That's my views since day started.

• How are you so sure that there are 3 mafia left?
• I'm not entirely sure what a soft claim is.
• I'm not sure exactly WHY Ice wants to lynch Wolverine.
• Why do you want to lynch Chae, if she hasn't said anything much?
• Even if the doc does reveal, couldn't they be lying and not actually the doc?
• If neither Chae, Lily, or Nolder have said everything, why do you think Chae is scum but not Lily or Nolder? I think Lily and Nolder are most likely town and am not too sure of Chae.
• Wolverine seriously needs to post more, we cannot figure out anything with him unless he does.

Now, you did forget someone- me. The only thing you said about me was that it was maybe me who wants to lynch Wolverine - but it wasn't me, it was Ice.
