Alright. So I don't personally know Quib's meta but I viewed him last Night on mostly a hunch. His tone was too overly neutral for me and there were a few little things here and there that he said which pinged my radar.

 

This is probably going to be the only bit of kindness that I will express through the whole game...

X, everybody is gunning for you because of how you reacted to the whole Cthulhu name-drop thing. It was a joke vote on Page 1. The fact that you've been responding to it in an effort to defend yourself is what's setting off everybody's scumdar, including mine. However, it is now far too late to really correct that, so you'd better start praying to Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Azathoth, Nyarlahotep, Hastur, or whatever other Lovecraftian deity you choose that somebody else puts their foot in it.

Or you can just say Hastur's name three times and be consumed.

Right now, I'm taking a careful look at X, AJ, and Lily. I think all three cases have been pounded pretty heavily, but I'm more tempted to go with either Lily or AJ on this one; I'm willing to suspend X's sentence until Day Two, as I think we would get more information out of a Lily or AJ lynch.

The first post isn't too bad but he followed it up with the bolded bit in the second quote which I found suspect. I mentioned this earlier when I gave my reads list. This came across to me like he was giving himself an out to retract the vote later.

 

On Euro time, so it's kind of hard for me to participate at the same time as the majority of people in the game.  I'll do my best to be as active as possible, though.

 

My reasoning behind the Lily vote is to see what she does.  She's pinging me as scum-like, and I'll go further into that once I get home.  I'm currently posting from work, which is kind of a no-no.

 

Here he does state that he was doing it to see how Lily reacts, which again would've given him an out later if he deemed her reaction 'subtle' or whatever. Also, we never did see this case from him.

Seriously, it's an exercise in futility to figure out Quib. Dude is an enigma.

Here I was asking Jack if he was familiar with Quib's meta, this was after he started to ping me. I don't really find Ishy's response suspicious but knowing Quib is maf makes him go down some in my eyes.

 

These past several pages have made me glad that people have to take me at face value, with no meta-gaming getting in the way.

Sorry I came late to the party. It shouldn't be as big a problem after tomorrow. Let me make up for it by getting rid of the obvious statements so that nobody else has to say them:

Unfortunately, I don't have any amazing insights to contribute at the moment. The bickering between AJ and Jack is kind of interesting, as is Lily's defense of Jack. I'm just not sure why it's so interesting yet.

 

 

This quote box got messed up but it's Quib's last post. I think he spewed Lily as town here. He's brought her up several times as a scum suspect for him and now he's linking her to Jack, which is also more-or-less assured scum at this point.
