Your jovial tone upon entering the thread makes me think you were excited to see your scum role pm. This is actually a surprisingly effective scumtell I have picked up on over time. I don't favor OP analysis as much as some, but peeps' first few posts usually do give you a pretty good idea of their alignment if you learn to read that kind of thing well. Your early posts all tell me you're scum. You come in all jokey and braggy, then after Amega says he wishes there was an active start you make an awful "So who's scum?" post then try and look townie with your #gamestarter vote.

In my experience, a jovial tone might also indicate someone excited about the theme or excited to play with certain players or something. I didn't notice you going all crazy about the theme, and didn't see you all excited to see anyone in particular. Hence, the only conclusion left for me was that you were excited cause you got a scum role pm.

Bold: You were trying to lead by saying I was def the D1 lynch, that was a joke. I do agree that we do need everyone to check in and start giving their thoughts, but that doesn't mean I'm going to wait to play. I go for what I see, and I see you being scummy.

 

Italics: This is just aggressively scummy right here. Looks like a direct threat for me to bail from trying to lynch you. Why would I get killed? Funny you say killed instead of lynched btw, hilarious little slip right there

 

Underlined: Unfortunately not much. Only other person that really sticks out to me so far is Leelou somewhat- her first post was a "helpful townie" post asking about the player list, second post was a reminder about future activity level from her, third was a joke vote on Wombat, who everyone pretty much loves. After this she's a little active and even has a jab @ Salami, which I dunno seems strange after her explanation about how she'd only post at night.

I'll withhold judgement until you have legitimate time to present your case. Until then though my vote stays on you. Make sure your points are clear as to your POV or else I will consider them fake. If you have legitimate questions for me thus far ( which I doibt you have) I will answer them. As far as I'm concerned these people should be considered scum until otherwise proven: Despo, Verb, Wombat, Leelou & SP.

 

I don't know SP's meta so he is on list just cause. If Verb does anything but fluff until later Day phases he is scum. Wombat is good and should only be taken at face value rheotoic wise until voting patterns can be discerned. If Leelou makes a reads list that doesn't add up she is scum. Look for inconsistencies in her logic. Despo is purely conf-bias at this point because I know my alignment. He is awfully stubborn as town so if he is pushed off his cases easily this is an indicator.

 

Would be fine latching any of these just cause it's D1. Reads are subject to change.

 

Hallia will fluff as either alignment. CS will lay low as scum. Peace is solid town but obvscum. Watch him.

And yea I think this clash looks somewhat forced. Not sure why, but it gives me the impression that it's staged. I think there's a good chance that both of you are scum.
