Monk is my #1 lynch candidate tomorrow due to his behavior the entirety of the game not just after the lynch.

No one is spazzing that I can see, but yes claiming so early without any serious pressure can easily be seen as scummy. Could be an attempt to clear pressure or attention off yourself before it's ever really started.

 

And night claims in general are pretty bad, if he's town he's only helping the mafia team in PR hunting. Def an antitown move.

 

Fwiw I never had Cory quite as strong a town read as Tom, the sum-up reasoning he gave X for why he was voting Nol/X def wasn't as strong as the ones Tom and I gave. Also feel like I remember Cory hopping off the Nol train before he subbed out, can't remember why, yet after the sub he was the first to vote X. Worth remembering for later.

Thing that sucks is, by going down this line of thinking, I'm sort of agreeing with Monk and Darthe, and both of them look dirty to me. Trying to figure out how to resolve that. Monk, if he was serious, is megascummy for "Oh Player X was town? Player Y who pushed his lynch must be scum" which is obv just terribad reasoning. Darthe sheeping it is even moar troubling.

I dunno, I got a town read on him personally. He was forceful in pushing Nol/X's lynch (told me to move back to him, then got annoyed @ my coding fail). Don't see him as forceful like that when he's scum usually.

 

Also fwiw, in situations like this, where there was a townie who made themselves look crazy scummy, and there was no real countertrain, scum are more likely to be lazy and kinda stay away from the lynch a bit, and even distance themselves from it on thread. I'll do some vote analysis tho either when I get back home later or tomorrow night when I'm back at work (BOO @ short 3 days off when I shoulda had 5 )

Despot I'm confused by your line of thinking - I pushed X/Nolder about as hard as anyone. You think I'm scummy because my reasoning was off (in truth, there was nothing I felt I needed to explain after Tom beat me to the punch and you posted your WoT - I would lynch Nolder 100% of the time every time in every game if he continued to make the posts he was making) and some posts I made near EOD (???) but then you think Maf would likely drop pressure off the lynch because there was no countertrain? How do these thoughts work together? I'm legitimately stumbling.

 

Trying to discredit me for being wrong about a Day 1 lynch seems absurd - Day 1 is the hardest to get right and for a Day 1 case I felt very confident in Nolder/X and so did a lot of other players in the game. You going to tell me to fall on my sword?
