Other: I'm struggling to find any scum-motivation for Hallias death. Sure she picked up her game and did a good job, but she neither hunted or cleared anyone enough for me to see the scum-team NK'ing her N1. Anyone has any more theories on that? Or is it just a random? I don't quite buy Tommys "Its for WIFOM"-comment, as it seems to have left people confused, not WIFOM'd.

I'm also on board with your plan on splitting up the PR into the two groups you mentioned, and by all means go for Salami. I'm not 100% convinced he is scum, but he isn't an attribute to our team either. But with a good activity level, him at L-1 and DL not until tuesday I don't see the rush in hammering. I'm also sure Cloud is gonna be all over this now, but I still feel the thread is constructive, and would also love some feedback on my reads before we rush to night.

Well, to be fair my read was mainly positive, and what you highlighted ended my conclusion to null leaning town. I think everyone has a couple of posts with stuff I think is scummy. But when I step back to take a stance, it might not be enough to actually warrant a scum-read on a otherwise townie player. 

 

I also struggled getting through the thread, and as I said in the opening of my post it's a "stream-of-consciousness" on each player. I'm sure there are some contradictions in there, which is why I offered them up for feedback so I could explain my stances if they were unclear.

My gut sense for Cloud is that he's trying too hard and making too much sense to be scum.

I dunno, but in a game with 2 mafia, without PRs, it'd be kinda stupid not to try hard? This is also the basic thought of me going back-and-forth on Salami, because even though I find it a bit silly (as discussed), it seems mafia has more at stake, and have more "team loyality", and especially in a setup like this would jump in and try their hardest. Especially at this point with two claimed PR amongst 7 players, leaving a pool of five brings a lot of heat on everyone. My guess would be that mafia would be jumping through hoops trying to look like good townies at this point. Dunno if that is the case, but it seems entirely logical at this point.

Yeah.  I like to do otherwise when I'm scum like advocate a whole scum team on the same lynch because the prevailing attitude here is that scum separate themselves.

While a good attempt, I don't personally think this is that conclusive towards anything. As Peace mentioned, it's pretty common here for scum teams to split up their votes, and with so many players in diff timezones 2.5 hours ain't that long a period really. Fwiw I don't think CSarmi would have been online during that period, and I still think him and Cloud or him and Vos are prob the most likely scum combos.

 

Vos's big reads post seemed to put in fairly good effort and everything, bit the reads were too muddled and wishy washy for my taste. One thing I forgot to respond to a while back- I originally thought Tommy claimed an hour before deadline because I checked the timestamp of his post which was ~9:00 and then clicked the deadline link, which said 10:00- unfortunately I forgot to check what time zone it was in so that must be where I was mistaken.

With that said, Peace's isolation tactics is a good (albeit trivial) one. In fact, when Tommy posted his separation list at night, that's what I thought he was doing.

 

I'll try and summarize my thoughts while on the way to work.

 

Gonna have to do it without really catching up.

 

Firstly cause I got no time for that secondly cause I wasn't shitting around or ate'ing or anything when I said I'll take the maffiaz in a very different way. As I said, I rub people the wrong way anyhow and apparently I get flak no matter what I do.

 

Maybe my thinking, maybe my arrogance, maybe cause I'm not a nice person and I don't make games fin for people.

 

Had some conversations after my last game with people whose opinion matter a lot to me and decided I would change.

 

If people gonna misread me anyway... least I should be having fun and making others happy. I wasn't having fun in my games. I am having fin on this one.

As far as I can recall, the day one trains were mostly town vs town action. Which means maffiaz could prolly just sit back and watch. The question that I keep coming back to is the Mish train. I don't believe she could be hammered there. The train was too early. Any scummers hammering that would have gotten a deserved lunch.

 

Now from what I see its practically impossible to have both Mish and Cloud as town. I think Cloud there. I don't suppose scum worried much about Mish slipping away seeing as only town trains formed afterwards.

Now I actually gave some thoughts to it, I don't see why Peace would be so town. He just seems to be overplaying his townieness which makes me reconsider.

 

While I can confirm that he's normally quite relaxed and reasonable, this voice if reason stuff could just be too much.
