Ah..

I am a long time fan of the series. Started reading it about 15 years ago and didnt finish because i started playing a text based mmorpg which put you in the the world of WoT. Then the wonderful world of adulthood took hold of me by the reigns. I have started over recently and im on book 5 now.. im not the fastest reader so i finish a book a week on my time off from my Telecom Techinician job and taking care of my two kids while my lazy wife sleeps all day and watches tv from her bed. Oops.. haha.. anyways i get lost in the WoT like im in some alternative dimension. Has kept me in better spirits these past 6 weeks. Gives me something to look forward to. I am a nerd through and through and love it. Im 28 and live in the smoky mountains im originally from Florida. . Nice to meet you all..

Nice to meet you as well! Welcome to DM. Lol, it has been a wish of mine that the WoT exist in some alternative reality. I'm happy you have decided to join us. We have a discussion forum, a role playing area and lots of social groups. I am mostly in the White Tower and Warders. All the boards there are not visible until you join. There are lots of other social groups as well. Each one has their own focus and activities. You can join as many as you want. Take a look around and don't be shy about asking any questions. :)

DM (Dragonmount) is the place to be if you are a WoT fan, no matter which book you are reading. You can discuss everything here in the Social Groups, just like Ryrin said and you could join all of them if you want In the Social Groups, I am part of the White Tower as a Novice and I could join the Black Tower to become and Asha'man, so no gender restrictions like in the books. When you go to the RP (Role-play_ section though, all the WoT rules apply, as you create a character and when it's approved, you RP with him/her, following the Robert Jordan books.

Sounds awesome. You can call me brody, this is quite fine. Its a hard thing to pinpoint a favorite, but if i had to say itd probably be Loial. Mat fits my personality more than most. The Sea Folk are quite fascinating. Ill definitely be checking out the different societies later. I am scared to look to deep as i would be devastated of any spoilers.

To best avoid Spoilers, be sure to not go into the book discussions, unless it's the structured discussions on books you have already read. Most of the social groups should be safe, but the RP side might have more accidental spoilers.
