It's not uncommon to see mafia, at least some of them, lay low on day 1 and let townies tear into each other.

 

Like I said, would you get behind a lynch that is actually viable with the time we have left (Theo is not viable)?

 

Theo could be viable if we all voted her. It's as viable as any other train atm imo.

Golden's OMGUS vote and later unvote, while in my opinion overreacted, does give me a town vibe from him. I also found Via scummy for only nitpicking and not adressing the game at large or giving her reads on the rest of the players. Her defense against Golden's vote also wasn't good imo.

100% caught up now and don't like Cloud's play at all so far.

He seems less like someone who is posturing for information and more like someone actually trying to achieve a lynch.

Our Day just started, I don't think it would be wise to end it just yet. He is my top suspect for a scum at the moment.

 

 

 

 

 

I don't actually find him especially scummy right now, and I want to see what he says. And I am aware there are other paths my line of reasoning could take, but it seems best to go down the worst possible case first.

This is the most reasonable approach to Day 1.

 

Why?

 

Pressuring people, even if you don't actually find them scummy, to see what they say is pretty much essential for a successful Day 1.

 

 

Given that Cloud was your top read why didn't you vote him? Later on you we're finding Peace questionable, why was Hallia your first vote?

At the time I wasn't ready to lynch Cloud. The day was still early and I didn't want to waste it.

If I voted him I'd have pretty much been a hypocrite don't you think?

 

Peace and I were just butting heads over stuff I don't think either one of us actually called the other scummy did we?

 

Hallia was my first vote because she wasn't active at the time and I either wanted her threatened with lynching so she'd start playing or actually lynched.

 

 

Since when has a single vote equated to a lynch? Why did you stop finding Cloud scummy?

It's more about the fact that I didn't want to advocate a lynch.

I rarely vote people if I'm not prepared to accept them being lynched.

I've seen blitzes and doublevoters and other sorts of shenanigans enough to know when you vote someone it means you better be prepared for them to die in most cases.

 

As for Cloud, he dropped the tunnel vision which was the biggest thing dragging him down.

You don't normally see scum do that IMO.

Still happiest with Nolder, his play is almost the complete opposite of WD, when his play arguably forced the mafia interactions that outer them.

 

Could possibly switch to Golden, that stuff on Tom was ridiculous, he overreacted to Via. I'm going to look through his play again now.

 

I'll also look through Kraks play as I don't remember much.

 

I wouldn't be happy with Hallia or Theo if the only reason is inactivity over the Christmas period. Was burned in Walking Dead lynching inactive which arguably cost Town the game. Especially since given my activity it would be hypocritical at best.
