May be your oldest member - my young friends have introduced me to The Wheel of Time !!

One, gave me the whole set of books - was ever there an Elder so spoiled

I prefer the company of younger people - others of my own age seem to be wrapped up

in thoughts of SELF. There is no communication - no topic of conversation - I like the

different "smilies" Hope I can add more to this

The whole set of books - WOW! that is quite a stack to carry around lol! Where abouts in the owrld are you?

 

There's a couple of sections to the site here - the discussion boards (though be wary of spoilers if you haven't read all the books!) a role playing section, and the Social Groups. Each has their own theme, and it's a great way to get to know fellow WoT fans! You can join as many as you like: you'll probably see that some members are in quite a few!

Welcome to DM. I belong to the White Tower and Warders group. It is only there that you can earn the rank of Aes Sedai or Warder. FYI, you cannot see all of the boards in the WT until you join. We have lots of other groups so please look at them all. Each group is unique and has their own activities so there is quite a variety. You will find something you enjoy, I'm sure. If you need any help or have any questions just let us know.

I so much know what you mean - I am almost 21 and my peers are all about... I don't think most of them knows it even. They don't read books at all and imagine when I offer them a book of 1000 pages. They looked at me like an alien. You are so very welcome! You will see there are a lot of activities (RP - roleplaying (create a character, play within WOT), SG (Social groups - we are ourselves and we discuss, we play games or we just share how we feel and what we think)). The good part is that you could join all the societies if you want. I am a part of the White Tower and the Black Tower Social Groups and I RP as a Novice in the White Tower RP board.

 

People here are very friendly with a variety of backgrounds, countries and ages and you could always get an advice or a virtual hug . Tell us a bit about yourself and where do you see yourself within the Who is favourite character or book?

I am always excited to see new people, and I hope you are enjoying your time here. I understand what you mean - friends who are my age don't read quite so much as I do. Most of my friends are older than I am.

 

 I belong to the Band of the Red Hand, Ogier, White and Black Towers, and the writer's guild in the Tuatha'an Social groups. You can join as many as you want, and when you join a group, you get access to more private boards you can't see without joining. I'm mostly just on the Social group side, but I'm writing a character to try the RP side too, so it's really just all about what you want to do! I hope to see you around!
