Would anyone have a problem making a slight change?

Hey guys.

 

I'm wondering if instead of having the Monthly reports due on the 8th, if we could aim to have them done by the 6th?

 

That still gives you 6 days to find the info, but it will give me more time to update the google doc and read through all the reports and merge them into the full report for the staff.

 

I have been struggling to get it done on time for the last few months and the figures are rushed and inaccurate because I am rushing them. 

 

Currently I only have one day to address the main report, update the activity in the google docs and pull it all together before it's due. This is kind of stressful on me as I can't guarentee every 9th of the month I'll be free to do it all. It would just be a huge help to reduce stress and focus on accuracy if I had the 3 day buffer to get your reports, sort through them and make the full one.

 

Let me know if you think its do-able for you guys to move the deadline each month up by 2 days.

Honestly, for me, it just depends on when the days fall. I need a weekend to put the finishing touches on the report and post it and if I poke people on the last day of the month/first day of the month, I need to give them time to post back. If that falls on a Sunday, then the 6th would be a hard target to hit. That probably won't happen very often, of course, but in the cases that it does happen...

It does. I think it would be fine if it was just a matter of occasionally being late with it. It would give everyone more wiggle room so if the 'due date isn't working for you it's not a complete mess for everyone if one or two reports come in a day late Like it is now.
