Help with the Old Tongue

Does anyone know how to say "book" or "read" in the Old Tongue?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Those are the links I use to find Old Tongue words, but I don't see either of those words on there.

se'fer is book. l'croah is to read. (ok, its hebrew, but the Old Tounge is more than influenced by Hebrew)

Yep. I'm only book 2 (almost finished!) and at this point the Aes-Sedai are portrayed almost like the Inquisition. Perhaps that is leavened in later books but they don't appear to be out for anyone but themselves at this point.
