Simple question about Tel'aran'rhiod from Lord of Chaos

I am reading Lord of Chaos and a few chapters ago read something about Tel'aran'rhiod in which I'm a little sketchy on the details and can't remember which chapter this occurs:

I can't remember if this is from Rand or Egwene's point of view but its stated that whilst in Tel'aran'rhiod one of the two is able to make out other realms or something to that effect. In one of these it's observed impossibly tall structures (skyscrapers), large wings with no bodies (hang gliders or jets) and flat rain drop's that travel fast along straight lines (vehicles driving along a road). Is this as obvious as it sounds...ie...our world? Is it expunged upon further in the series? I ask because it seems rather odd to include such a thing in a fantasy book.

I guess my simple question is, is this Robert Jordan's attempt at explaining the multiverse theory?

Not a multi-verse, the WoT is simply supposed to be our world, in another time (meaning, this now is an Age where the DO and OP aren't known). By the way, while what you say rings a bell, I'm not exactly sure where it was or how it's described. Can you pinpoint the quote?

If that is the case, I believe that was merely his dream. He had warded his dreams by this point. I think it was stated somewhere that you can't enter TAR when your dreams are warded, though not 100% sure. Plus, I don't think Rand is a Dreamwalker. He entered TAR previosuly because he was drawn in by the Forsaken. With the ward in place, they can't draw him in (well, Lanfear says she can break his wards, but that it will be unpleasant).

I think that these dreams are merely memories from LTT surfacing in his dreams.

The description of this multiverse world was in Lord of Chaos within the first 21 chapters, can't exactly remember where and I honestly should have marked it as I read it.  Tricks I'm learning.  Interesting that you mention that WoT is in this world.  Is there any explanation or theory surrounding where geographically the places of WoT are in our world?  Or any speculation thereof?

Are you referring to Rand's trip through the ter'angreal in Rhuidean? That has the Sho-wings and Jo-cars in it.

No this is in TAR and not related to Rhuidean.  This could also have occurred with Egwene and not Rand.

I believe the reference would be to LTT dreams, nightmares that Rand has, the Sho Wings falling out of the sky, and buildings crashing. Everything overlaid in red. If I am getting the correct scene.

Yes you are, I looked this up because I can't remember exactly when it occured, but http://www.encyclopaedia-wot.org/ tells me its Lord of chaos, chapter 19, Matters of toh.

Rand dreams Lews Therins dreams about the age of legends, and is dreaming about sho wings and jo-cars (planes and cars).

Very interesting.  Is this concept ever expounded on later in the series?  How did we 'lose' access to the OP?  (Having only read up to Lord of Chaos if there's any spoilers let me know prior :P)

The age of legends is brought up many more times in the series, through the thoughts of many different people,  ter'angreal and weaves, but I'm not going to spoil anything here for you. Visions of the AOL do not occur frequently however, but the motif of the pattern and time itself being a wheel is used extensively. All I will say is, the aiel have a special interest in the age of legends.

If you mean by "how did we lose access to the OP?" You are referring to the bore itself, and Lanfear accessing it in the age of legends, that is a RAFO for books 7 and 8, as it refers to something you won't know about until book 7, from memory.
