Three shall be as one

I havent seen this debated on the forums anywhere so I thought I would bring it to light. While reading TGS I noticed that when Min comes across the quote "He shall hold a blade of light in his hands, and the three shall be as one." Cadsuane tells Min that she has reached the conclusion that this means that Rand must bond with two women in order to use Callandor.

Here's my theory. Could the three being one be Rand, Lews Therin, and Moridin?

Rand/Therin in Moridin's body would fulfill both the body swap theory and this. Am I completely out of my mind or is this a reasonable theory?

I assumed it meant Rand and the 2 women who has to help him because of the flaw in Callandor.

I've also read where it could be Rand, Mat, and Perrin pulled together as one from the swirling colors.

I think you have a reasonable theory. I've read the body swap theory and I disagree with it happening that way at all. But then again, I've been wrong before too.

To prevent Rand from being overstressed by having three wives, the three must become one. Aviaynin!

But, more seriously: I think it's intentionally vague. I even think it might remain such. The three Ta'veren must act together, Rand will have a three person circle when he goes to Shayol Ghul... and maybe he'll even merge/do something with Moridin.

Rand, Moiraine, Nynaeve
Rand, LTT, Moridin
Rand, Mat, Perrin
Min, Elayne, Aviendha
Saidin, Saidar, True Power

Ya, there's a bunch of interpretations, somehow I doubt it's any one these.

I don't think that it means Rand, Lews Therin, and Moridin because ever since Rand's epiphany Lews Therin has been "gone".  It now seems that Rand's soul goes far deeper than just Lews Therin.

There's nothing to say that only one interpretation will come true either.  There's still potential that Mat could convince Tuon to help fight the last battle at Shayol Ghul, which in theory would put the three nations (Aiel, Seanchan, Randland) as one.  Even without the Seanchan, we could view the Sea Folk as a 3rd nation.

Cadsuane and Min both coming to the same conclusion about the three meaning Rand and 2 female Aes Sedai seems like it could be baiting us into wanting to follow this simple interpretation.

Another idea that popped into my head last night while readying ToM could be the Aes Sedai, Kin, and Wise ones all becoming a united organization.

Really it seems like every time there are three of anything it pops off a light in my head linking it back to this prophecy.

well you know if cads says its must be rand and two women....it surely means it must not be the case!!!! haha.

Just another way to have the author lead us one way, then blam - hit us from behind with something else.
