So, Kathleen doing a general clean up of the site made me realize how horribly outdated the information up there is. I've edited a bit, already, but I thought we could have a bit of a chat about websites and other things, since this is the only one we have. :)

 

 

The Green Ajah is widely known as the Battle Ajah. Their Sisters are on the front line of every fight against the Shadow. Only Greens are allowed more than one Warder and there is a reason for it: the Greens need extra protection while battling the Dark One. The Sisters learn and use battle weaves, as well as devise new ones. Preparing for Tarmon Gai’don, the Last Battle, is a central part of the Green Ajah.

 

As the Ajah of sacrifice, the Green Sisters are willing to risk their own lives, and that of their multiple Warders, to protect and help those in need. The Green Ajah is the only Ajah in which the members are denied entrance to their Ajah at their raising, though only those in the Ajah know that before it happens to them. To be a Green Sister takes something special and the new Sisters must be molded into the future Sisters of the Battle Ajah. After all, the Green Ajah stands ready and awaits the last battle with keen eyes and ready hearts.

*Note: The Head of the Ajah is a carefully guarded secret. You will not know who is head of the Ajah icly unless you are a member of that Ajah. Green Ajah members call their Ajah Head the Captain-General. Sitters are called Banner-Captains.

While I've got your attention, should we have our own website? The old one linked on the Division website is no longer active, which probably means it would be terribly out of date. I can build us a google page pretty easily, even make a generic address that can be easily transferred/shared and information stored in the doc's, etc. Is this a good use of time?

What sort of info would you be putting on the Green's website?

 

If its just gonna be stuff we have in the green boards, i don't really see a need for it.

 

If you had something more/extra that you wanted the world to know about the greens (meaning people who don't have access to our sneaky boards) that can't be added to the greens' section of the main WT website, or if it was for archiving green stuff we don't want to loose or something, then that could be ok.

 

I personally don't know that i'd go there much or use it, unless it had info i needed i couldn't get here. But that is just my personal thoughts.

The only thing I can think that might need to go on there would be links to Battle Weaves. Everything else is either public or they'll get access if they need it and can ask questions if they need to know something.

 

*shrugs* that's why I'm asking if it's even worth me making up something. The wiki does a lot of the work for us, already!
