Welcome to the Band of the Red Hand! You came at a good time... our group is undergoing a transition, so there is a fun spark of life that is only increasing around here. Our illustrious leadership will no-doubt fill you in on some details, though give them a couple days as our Marshal-General is just starting her new job and might take a day or two to see this.

Again, welcome!

Welcome to the Band! I'm Jea, the new MG of the Band!

Like Horn said I just got a new real life job and it's taking up a bit of my time and my schedule did a complete flip flop (I was working all nights, no I have a normal workday Monday through Friday but work nights Friday and Saturday - help?) but I'm hanging in there and trying to get everything situated here as well!

All that being said, the person you need to watch out for is Dicetosser1 - our Executive Officer who will be taking care of helping you learn the ropes around these parts!

Well, I was always in love with the Band in the books, especially with the description of them being "a bunch of uncles that will teach Olver unsavory habits." ^^

My favorite character in the books is alternately Nynaeve and Siuan. I love their toughness and put-up-with-nothing-ness, and how they can be sweet when they find some one to open up to.

Stuff about me. . .

I'm a young 'un, starting college in the fall, taking the welding course, I'm a rabid Whovian, I make chain mail with my brother, I'm learning archery. . . I love steampunk, Victorian stylings, dark and emo pictures, good music (Think Emilie Autumn, Evanescence, Poets of the Fall, and Florence + the Machine) and I work with ice cream ALL DAY LONG.

Ugh working with ice cream would smell nasty (I'm allergic to dairy products so milk based products smell bad to me).

I used Florence + The Machine's music in my student teaching class last spring (No Light, No Light and Heavy - both had great connections to Hamlet!)
