Ler's be honest. Yes I think there is third party but really I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing, due to boredom. In all honesty though anyone so caught up in their own ways that they refuse to consider the possibility of a third party, is just being stubborn.

At least half the games I've been in have had 3rd party.

Mindjack is about a 50/50 and it depends on the source material.

DPR however I believe really likes it, from what I've heard about previous games. The Jaws game had a very important third party mechanic.

I think if a mod had third party in their game, they wouldn't give out the alignments to the players. Seems pretty obvious.

Don't get me wrong, I am pretty stubborn, but I can also admit when I'm wrong, which seems to be something you have difficulty doing.

 

And you're not arguing for the sake of arguing, you're arguing because you want to try to keep your wifom intact as to what your alignment could be. And once again, that paper thin wifom isn't fooling anyone.

Third party isn't exactly a rarity. Whether it's cult, survivor or SK type roles, or other bizarro schtuffs, they're not exactly uncommon enough that people are ever surprised to see them in a game. In DPR's guide for how to set up a basic game in fact, one of his example setups includes a SK.

 

And I wouldn't presume to pretend that I know DPR's games that well, after only actually playing in 2, but imo a better statement would be that DPR is fond of having setups that challenge the players to think more laterally. After all, he said as much himself when he was talking about "gaming the razor". I think it's somewhat oversimplifying to say that he just enjoys the third party mechanic; he prob enjoys whatever mechanic he can come up with that helps to encourage players to have broader perspectives on how to look at mafia games. Third party is obviously not the only way he can do this.

I was targeted last night phase for a kill. I'm assuming someone wants me dead, and since I actually started breaking the game's setup down in a manner that will undoubtedly lead to fatima scum, and I am not spending my time arguing over setup theories, I figure I'm a threat. So, I'll be NKed.

MOD CLARIFICATION: I did mention bastard modding as being synonymous with lying. So, it is completely correct to say that I don't lie to players, or bastard mod. This is important for me to make clear as players will spend time and effort into putting arguments together and need to be able to depend on information to do so. Anytime I post a clarification or a piece of information, it should be treated as a clue to the game - kind of like an anonymous tip phoned into the police...

The nights have become next to unbearable.

 

Once again, screaming punctuates the horror that everyone feels, although no one dares leave the safety of their home to help. Turin most have known this because he used no words; he only let pain and anguish gush forth from a throat that must be bleeding after letting such forth. After some time, the screaming is reduced to the whimpering of a little girl, and you can't decide which sound was worse...

 

An idle thought crosses your mind that the one doing the torturing must be as skilled as they are demented.

Alanna gasps, and no one thinks to look at her - they merely assume that she has taken in the scene before them. They do not notice her feet kicking several inches over the ground as the man behind her cinches the wire garrote around her neck.

So, following up on this.

 

Vote EP.

 

We see Peace as Fatima Town, and TWO Fatima scum voting him. It looks like a play to bus Peace so that Christine and Niel could look more Javier, and also make EP look Javier. EP is from thread #1 meaning he must be either Javier town, or Fatima scum. If he is Javier town, it serves as a minimal loss. If he is Fatima scum, then it is a great thing to rule out this wifom.

 

This should be a no-brainer at this point.

 

I do not want to lynch anyone from thread #2 because they are either Javier Mafia or Fatima Town which is a minimal threat to team Javier right now.
