help with an image

I have saved a rather large image to my desktop. When I open it in any program it opens it scaled down, or zoomed out or something and you cant read the writing. I dont want that. I have tried zooming in and saving that didnt work. I resized it as well, and saved, but when i open it in gimp it just opens it scaled out even further.

 

The thing is when i upload it online it uploads this zoomed out version. Its really peeing me off to put it politely.

I think I'd need to be playing with it myself to be able to help unfortunately.

 

It's odd to me that even programs like gimp are freaking out over it. Usually, even if the image is zoomed when you open it up to look at it on your screen, it uploads and downloads as the full picture because all of that info is still in the file.

sounds odd, can you mail me the file and i will try look at it sometime this weekend in gimp, as long as you open it directly in gimp they usually just zoom out a bit to allow you more room for work menus, so you instead zoom in within the picture edit window, but it dont loose quality
